Stickers on T-shirt Have Been Washed and Dried on - Any Hope?

One of my favorite t-shirts of my daughter's had two square stickers on it, the big kind they give out at the doctor's office, and I forgot they were on there when I washed and dried the shirt. Now there are two big white areas where the residue from the sticker is, and I can't get them off for the life of me. I washed it again and hoped when it was wet I'd be able to peel the paper off, but it didn't really help. Is there anything I can do? If the shirt is ruined forever it's obviously not the end of the world, but I figured I'd ask before throwing it out. Thank you!!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Looks like I'll be purchasing some Goo-Gone and WD-40! Thanks ladies! Fingers crossed!

I wouldn't throw the shirt away, even if you can't get the residue off. Stained clothes are great for sending the babes outside to play. There already ruined so they can get them as dirty as they want :)

How about Goo-Gone to dissolve the adhesive? You might have to scrub a little bit - use a soft scrub brush or an old soft toothbrush - but wait until the Goo-Gone soaks for a while. It's a little stinky but you could do it outside (in the shade so it doesn't dry too fast) or in the garage.

WD40 works too but as soon as the gooey stuff is off, you need to scrub with Dawn dish soap to get the grease out. If it doesnt come out, then put some cool patch on, But I hate when I forget the stickers on clothes...

Soak for a very long time. That's what finally got the sticker off my daughter's shirt after I'd forgotten it there. Again, one of those huge doctor's office ones. Naturally.

Citra-Solv should work. It's non-toxic and can be used for all sorts of cleaning needs.

Goo be Gone works for me. I have also used hot water or an iron to soften the sticky and been able to scrape it off.
