Hi Mamas!

We bought a new house at the end of fall.. With this new house came less storage space! We do have an attic. I used to wash the winter bedding, put into plastic garbage bags and then into a plastic bin. I have tried and tried the space bag storage bags, but they just don't seem to work. Does anyone have unique ways to store their winter comforters during summer? I was recently told by a friend to help keep the linen closet organized fold the sheet sets and put them into one of the pillow cases from the set. Very helpful!

Thanks so much for any tips you might have!

I leave my comforter on the bed year round and just fold it down on the foot when we are sleeping.

We keep the place really cold LOL...Seriously. We like to be covered with the comforters. We keep the air conditioner on 72.

We keep our extras in our ceder chest. We also have a few blankets under our bed in the rolling plastic storage bins that fit under the bed. One of our neighbors put their bed on some special bed block to raise it enough to have a little bit higher storage.

Thanks for the tip about storing the sheet set in on of the pillow cases. What a great idea. Have a great day.

I, too, am guilty of needing a down comforter all summer long!
