I have an 89 year-old elderly lady friend that invested in the Tempurpedic Bed with the promise from the store that it was 100% guaranteed.
She happens to be about 5 foot tall. When she received the bed, she found that the bed "bends" in sections that do not meet her own "bends" (knees & back), and pulls and hurts her. She had me take some photos of her trying to lay on it, with her polaroid camera, and she took the pictures back to the store. She he told them she was sorry, but she would have to return the bed, because it hurts her to use it. They said she could only return the top mattress portion for a 100% refund, but she must keep and would not receive a refund for the more expensive electric portion. But since it was the electric portion that could not use, she wanted to return the entire bed for the promised "100% guarantee". They told her that it was on the back of her contract (the sales receipt which she never signed). And there it was! Printed in yellow print, on a yellow receipt, I could almost see it! "No refund on electrical parts." So she took them to court, and after a couple of lawyers took her money, she won her only refund, and Tempurpedic came and picked up their entire bed. What a way to treat an old lady! It's not for short people!
