I posted 3 weeks ago that after 20 months of trying my husband and I found out we were finally pregnant. We found out we were very, very pregnant. No one knows how far along I am because I don't have periods. Check out my first post for the entire story, it's on the second page of my questions. It has been a long 3 week wait for the appointment with my OB, but today is the day! I couldn't sleep last night and my stomach is is knots. What the heck is wrong with me! I feel like it's the day of my wedding again I am so nervous. Mostly I think I am just anxious to find out how many weeks I actually am. We are hoping we have more than 3 months to get ready for this miracle baby.
My fears were really put to ease with all of you amazing women (and men) and your kind words about not having prenatal care right away. I was really a mess over that. I feel like some of you have turned into my "friends," even though I have only been on mamapedia for less than a year. Since most of my real life friends have played the guessing game already and I have to ask a question would anyone like to take a shot at it too and guess how many weeks I am or when my due date will be?
My guess is that I am 23 weeks (really hoping that it is not more) and I am due sometime in early January. I don't know why, but when I think about it January is the only month that pops into my head. I will let you all know what my measurement is after my appointment. I won't have an ultrasound for a more reliable due date until next week.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you not have periods? I have the same problem and we are trying to get pregnant also. So I can understand you not knowing you were pregnant. I had our son almost 3 years ago, and have not had a period since. Yes, I have been to a fertility doc and run tests and labs and all that. There is a procedure we can do, but we are not comfortable with the "selective reduction" part of it. That is, where they can reduce the number of eggs in there when the procedure takes. They can't tell me why I don't have periods, and I am fearful that I am premenopausal. So I am just curious if you know why you don't? Thanks for any information you can give me. I feel desparate about this sometimes, and I am just trying to be informed.

As for the calculators based on the first day of your last period ... those are only useful if you have a 28 day cycle :) Not so useful if your cycle is any other length :)
Ooh, that IS exciting to have your appointment today!! My guess is that you're only 17 weeks along & will end up due sometime in March. Don't forget to let us know after your appointment. Much love!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so happy for you and your family! My guess will be that baby will be born on January 13th! I am guessing this date because it was my grandma's birthday. I wish you the best of luck at your appointment and I really hope you let us know how far along you really are!!!

You need to look at the last time you had your period. You can do a chart from there. You cna go online and do an pregnancy predictor. Congrats on your miracle baby. God bless and good luck.
Yeah im glad to hear things are well and I pray you have a continuing healthy pregnancy. There are so many emotions when you have been trying and things will calm down, just enjoy the time you are pregnant and savor every monent you have carryiing this one..with 3 it may be the short time of one on one you get with him/her ;-)
