We take ours down every winter. It doesn't take too long - maybe 15-30 minutes at most and it ensures that next season it will be in the same condition they enjoyed last season.
Hey Cool Moms! We got a 15 Foot Trampoline this summer. wondering what you all do with it in the winter? does it get all tore up in the winter and with the wind? Do you treat it while its new? or tarp it? I sure hope your not taking it all apart each year!
Happy to hear from you! TY in advance!!
Have a Great Week!! Man I love working at Home!

Hi Andrea, We have had our trampoline for 6 years and we do have a cover for it. The kids keep it covered when they aren't using it. But they love to use it year round. In the winter they put on layers of warm socks or boot liners and take off the cover and have a blast!! I also have a wonderful business that I manage from home. What do you do? Who do you work with?

FYI Our tramp doesn't have netting. Ours is a large rectangular shape. We would never bother with dismantling it. It looks great!!
We take ours down too and just leave the frame.
Sorry for the sad news but we do take our down every winter. My hubby says the winter weather will tear it up horribly.
Good luck!
Andrea,
Our neighbors left theirs out during the winter. After 2 years the netting was ripping away at the seams, the cord attaching the netting to the trampoline was ripped, the panels protecting the kids from landing on a spring were cracked, the zipper to get in and out of the trampoline was broke and the paint was chipping off of the frame. The springs were also starting to rust. I don't think a tarp would help any. It's the cold temperatures and the moisture freezing that does all the damage. Your best bet is to put it away or plan on buying a new one in 3 or 4 years. Good Luck!
