We had our tub reglazed about a year before we sold our condo. WOW!!! What a difference! It looked great. I can't remember the name of the company, but I'm sure other mamas will be able to provide lots of recomendations. Just wanted to let you know, the process is a bit smelly, so you'll need to open lots of windows. After that, its great! I don't remember it being too expensive, maybe $250??? Well worth it. I'd do it again if needed. Good luck!

We found out that is was cheaper to have the tub covered with a surround and it also modernizes the bathroom. It actually adds value to your home. My husband is a carpentry contractor and rehabs and builds new homes. People like things that look new and the cover/surround give the bather that little lift. Ask your plumber he will know someone.

We had our tub reglazed by Abbot Bathtub and Tile Refinishers in Palos Heights. ###-###-####. He did a great job and the tub looks brand new. (And side story... the day he was working at my house, I was on my way home to pay him and got a flat tire. I called the office to let them know I would put the check in the mail, and he was so concerned about me being stuck with a flat tire and my 2 yr old, he called back my cell to make sure I didn't need help. I thought that was nice.)

B.,
We had our tub reglazed before we sold our house. It looked great...It was when we lived in Michigan so giving you a name would not matter anyways. But, I did want to respond to your request because I just wanted you to know..you should make arrangements to stay out of your house for at least 24 hours after it is done. It really smells up your whole house and is toxic if inhaled.
