Aquanet - I use it and I am really sensitive to scents. Or just tell her to go without. Good luck!
The scent from my daughter's hairspray literally makes me ill, causing an allergic sinus reaction and headache. Does anyone use an unscented hair spray that is truly, truly unscented? I want to get her something that is so unscented I don't even know she's using it.
Thanks!

Aquanet in the purple can. It's cheap and works great, and is unscented. We use it by the truckload around here, what with 2 ballerinas...
Finesse makes an unscented hairspray.
I think Clinique still might make one
I'd also have her use a pump spray vs. an aerosol so you aren't dealing with propellants. Those can be as irritating as the fragrance. (And the bottle can be recycled - a benefit to the environment.)
There are several unscented brands out there (Google it).
She could try Aqua Net: Extra Super Hold 3 Unscented.
I think Walmart might carry it.
The very nature of the beast will have scent. It's really old fashioned to even use hair spray....isn't there something else she can use? Most people use Mousse or gel or nothing. If they have curls and want it to stay curly they use the stuff I mentioned and perhaps a gloss liquid. If they want it straighter they dry it then straighten it.
Still no hair spray though. We only use hair spray when we're doing dance performances and want the hair plastered where it will stay in place or a hair ornament "glued" in. I spray the decoration part that goes in the hair then let it dry a moment then stick it in. It is tacky and sticks. Usually she has to take them out in the shower when she's about to wash her hair. And wash the decoration too....
We use Suave. But we do not use the aerosol can. It does not leave a scent when we are done. She also uses mouse because she likes the curls.
I didn't know they still made Aqua Net, thought it was discontinued. Haven't seen it around in a long time.
