We live in Texas, children live in Georgia, child support based in Ohio. Seeking advice on how we can get children from mother who is not cooperating. Seeking an affordable attorney who can deal with multi-state laws and visitation.

Call Troy Reminer ###-###-####. He's a family lawyer and he may be able to help you. And he's reasonable priced.
You can tell him I sent you too.

I would highly recommend Pre-Paid Legal. They have law firms in all the states and members have access to all law firms. I've been a member for 2 years and it has saved us over $7,000. They got us out of a contract, that is what we owed, so they saved us from having to pay that. Check out www.prepaidlegal.com I used to sell Pre-Paid Legal and I'm no longer selling it, however my sponsers are. If you are interested in learning more about it, I can give you their contact information. It is a monthly membership, however it is well worth the money. We have all our wills, and important documents and didn't have to pay any extra for it.
Hope this helps, C.
I can only advise to google your counties bar association and put in a few calls some attorneys on the list. IF they do not deal with this, they can tell you who does and who they recommend.
I am a Board Certified Family Law Attorney in the area. Website texasfamilylaw.info
I agree with the previous responder. You need to contact an Ohio attorney first. There are a few situations where something could be done in Texas, but they are very rare.
Feel free to call for a consultation, but investigate the Ohio situation first.
collaborativepractice.com is one place you can find attorneys that are predisposed to solving matters outside of court. In that you are down here rather than Ohio, there is value in such a skill set. Just confirm that the attorney is also fine with litigation as well if required.
I also do wills. If you are merging families don't forget to consider your estate planning needs and guardianship issues for your children.
All the best.
Sorry. I meant to send this privately, but I missed the selection box and now I cannot edit it to private.

When we were dealing with this problem, we had to get an Ohio Attorney (in Greene County) and go to Ohio for hearings because that is where the original decree was written. It didn't matter where anyone lived, at least back several years ago, it only mattered where the papers were filed.
