We are planning a trip to Disney World in November but we do not want to stay in the park, to keep costs down. Looking for suggestions for accomedations outside of the park with lots of activities for my boys.

What can I do next?

S.,

We do the same thing we like to go to disney but we don't stay on site. If you go to vibro.com and click on the Orlando Disney area you will find hundreds of homes to rent and alot of them have game rooms and pools to the houses you rent and sometimes even putt putt golf. The homes usually have washer and dryers and the house has everything you need. The best thing is you have more space than a hotel and it is some times cheeper if not about the same in price. It is worth checking out. Good luck,

there are a ton of places to stay outside of the park! check area hotels in kissimee. we have a time share, so we always stay at different resorts, but if you check the orlando visitor website, you will find plenty of choices. there is also a nickolodean hotel not far from park. I am sure the kids would love that.

I used to work for Disney World. You can keep costs down in you stay at an All Star property at WDW. You get transportation from the airport, no parking fees, and discounted tickets. I'm sure there are better deals out there but call AAA Travel (if you are a member) or go to disneyworld.com, they might be more competitive than you think! Good luck! Bring lots of water, non-sticky snacks and meals and that will keep costs down. have fun!

Look through Orbitz - there are a TON of condos/pool houses that you can rent in the Orlando/Kissimmee area with tons of space for the whole family that are CHEAP! It's something I would consider when we finally get around to going down there. Good luck!
