I decided this is the perfect forum to ask about where to find a really magical Christmas Eve Service in the Fort Worth/northern mid-cities area. I'm dreaming of candlelight and gentle people and beautiful music and less preaching or gentle preaching or even a program of children. I'd prefer intimate over grand scale. What say you?
I'm not familiar with any of the local churches; however, it does sound like an Episcopal Christmas Eve service might be a good fit. It's a litergical religion so "preaching" or sermons are kept to a bare minimum usually. In my moms' church in AZ, and I assume here as well, all are welcome and can go up for communion or a blessing when it's time.

We go to All Saints-5001 Crestline 76107 and it's at 4:30 also-children's service. It's packed, so come early! : )

I would recommend the Christmas eve Children's service at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Arlington. It is wonderful!

I love the christmas program put on by Irving Bible Church. It is a large church but the setting is on a personal/intimate level. Not sure where you live but we live in Bedford and it takes us at the most 20mins. IBC has three christmas services on christmas eve to fit what ever schedule you may have.
