Is there a good Gynecologist in the NW houston/290/Beltway area that does Well woman check ups? or should I just visit my family doctor?
Thank you all for the advise. I checked with Dr. Kirkman and she was not accepting new patients till Jan 09. I asked around and found Dr. Miro who was accepting patients and has reasonable prices for well woman checkups. I'll let you know how it goes next week!

I love my GYN- his name is Dr. La and he is located off of Richmond and Beltway 8. His staff is awesome- and he is wonderful. He delivered my son last year- can't say enough good things about him! The number is ###-###-####.
Dr Oanh Bui. She practices at the local hospitals and will take time to explain and answer questions. She is young and kind of no nonsense. All her patients love her and the office staff.
Hope that helps,
A.
I have a wonderful doctors office called NorthWest Womens Center they are at 249 and 1960 next to Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and they are WONDERFUL people who really sem to care about you and your family. I would refer anyone to them! Good LUck!
Dr Joseph Castillo ###-###-#### is in Fallbrook 1960 area.
Dr. Allyson Patronella at Premier OBGYN. She delivered my baby and she is wonderful!
Hey there~
I believe that Nativity Birthing Center off of 1960 does well woman check ups still. They are a group of certified Nurse midwifes who have hospital privileges at the nearest (to them) medical center.
I know that the personalities of these women make you feel very comfortable and relaxed doing something that often feels *very* uncomfortable.
Hope that helps!

I used Dr. Baker. His office is behind the Hospital on 249 and 1960. ###-###-####
I usually see the nurse practioner and have had no problems. I would get the early morning appointments because they always seem to run behind. I am glad I only have to go once a year.
