La perla is my favorite. I don't think VS is expensive, but ok quality especially the seamless bras for the form fitting clothing. I have noticed VS bras need a replacement every 6 months or so.
Ok ladies. I love my Victoria's Secret bras, but I've noticed the prices have gone up in the last few years. I've been a loyal Victoria's Secret customer for the last 10 years or so, but I'm thinking about buying elsewhere. What bras do you like? I'm a 34B (sometimes 36B depending on the bra though) - so I'm pretty average. Any recommendations? I'm looking primarily for a comfortable bra, but pretty at the same time would be nice too.

I buy my VS bras on ebay. New with Tags.
I have tried numerous bras and keep coming back to VS. I've been buying VS since 1990....I even had (still though not active) the original pink and blank VS credit card!!! :)
I'm kind of hard to fit, but I recently had the best bra break through EVER!!!! It's been hard to break away and bra shop for 5 years now with the kids, but I visited my impatient step mom in Seattle and begged her to let me break off and hit Macy's for bras. She didn't want to watch my 2 year old, so there I was with 20 minutes and my two year old... Not much better than home! But it worked in my favor, because I went up to the girls (I usually don't get help) and said, "I only have a couple of minutes, I need a bra which.....".(insert my fit concerns especially that the band and clasps had to be STURDY) and she came back with a stack of 7 bras I would never have looked at. 3 of them were AWESOME!!!! Usually I'm lucky to find ONE in 3 hours of trying....Go to a big department store, and ask for help!
Like you, i like my victorias secret, they are pretty and well built (hard to come by for a D or up).....i wish they made nursing bras!
I hit up their two semi annual sales(in January and June) and get the bras for 15 to 20 dollars (the realllllly goods ones)......plue give them your address and email and they mail you a coupon almost every month for a free pair of panties and 10 $ off a bra (so you can get a matching set for 20)
Triumph expensive. Can be washed in the washer dried on a hangar. The ones I am wearing have last 12 years. They never lost their shape or mine. I only bought three. I alternate them with Victoria's Secret which is already showing it's age after only 3 years.
Calvin Klein t-shirt bras.
Nordstrom
I'm the same bra size as you.
JC Penny's have great bras that last. I can also find a few at Target.
I like the Vassarette bras at Kmart. Nice and padded so nothing "peaks through", it also holds it's shape (instead of mine - lol) and you can get them without the underwire - I hate underwires. Only about $10 ea.
This is the only bra I wear (barring a special occasion where I need a T-back): http://www.amazon.com/Bali-Womens-Smooth-Underwire-3432/d... . I have one in every color they make.
I am a 34C and need the support (it has under-wire which is what I like).
I too, love VS bras....I have not bought any recently, even though I know you are suppose to. Macy's always has comfortable bras...even Walmart! Kohl's has nice bras as well and they aren't high priced. I bought my sports bra for teaching dance from Walmart! I mean who is going to look at my sports bra if its under a t-shirt?! Hehe. I'd try Kohl's if I were you or even Target! I'm a 36C, so its hard to find a good bra because the rest of my body is very tiny.
Good luck!
Bra fit depends upon the bra. Same as shoes. Does every pair of shoes in your size fit you and feel comfortable? I recommend that you go for a bra fitting at Penney's and go from there. I personally like Lily of France bras. The are moderately priced, hold up well and fit. They also have a selection that is usually priced at 2/$20. When Penney's carried Delicates brand some of the bras were exactly the same, made by the same people as the much higher prices Victoria Secrets bras.
Bali also has some nice bras. I used to be a bra fitter for Penney's and the Bali Lace Desire bra was one of my go to bras for a hard to fit lady.
btw Every woman who came in to Penney's looking for bras and had been fitted at VS ---- was fitted wrong. In one case I had a lady who for 10 years couldn't find a good fiting bra so she wore sports bras all the time. VS told her she was a 36DDD when I re-measured her she was a 40B and for the first time in 10 years she had comfortable bras.
I bought two bras from Aerie. I am the same size as you. I think the style
was 'Emma'. I love them and bought them when they had a sale.
i love bali, with concealing petals. perfect compromise of value and comfort!
There's nothing like a good bra. I've ended up liking the Favourite T-Shirt bra from Gap Body. It's not beautiful but it makes me look beautiful! I love the cup shape (I hate pointy bras with a passion) and the support and I love the slightly stretchy straps. I stock up when I have a coupon or the friends & family 30% off everything days.
Whatever is on sale at Target. Granted it is hit or miss, but I just refuse to pay $40 for one bra at VS.
I love Calvin Klein bras, but I only buy them @ TJMaxx or Marshall's. You can always find them there, sometimes for as low as $5.
