Get rid of the kids, put on an apron and some heels (ONLY an apron and heels), and tell him you're making dinner tonight... and he's dessert. He deserves it, LOL!!
Can he teach my fiance how to help?! :)
Ok - for those of you who have seen my more recent posts, you know the issues DH and I have been having....
So, for the past two nights he has come home, done a load of laundry WITHOUT ME ASKING, installed a new closet system in the baby's room (fabulous job!) and has done the dishes WITHOUT ME ASKING. Did one of you laides call my husband?!?!
I need to keep this going.....I have praised him tremendously (and of course he has praised himself - lol). Any other thoughts on keeping his actions up?!
Forgot to add - I have also thanked him by not waking him up at all while I get up with baby all night - he was so appreciative this am that he made me coffee and a smoothie! I am still so tired though =(.
Denise - you have to know my husband!! He has always wanted a Harley!
InMy30'sAlready?! - you are dead on!
Lol - I asked him "what did you do - who is she?" (joking of course). He just laughed.

Stroking the ego is an absolute must....now you just gotta stroke the other part ;)
~My hubby would say "preferably with your mouth"....sorry TMI!
Just GO with the FLOW! LOL
(He's probably getting ready to buy a Harley or a boat!)
Happy to see that you are posting something good about your husband. We all like to hear good things on here too!
Rewards in the bedroom always work for me...and I get to share in the reward so its a double bonus for me really :)
Be "Dirty Girl" in the bedroom :-) LOL j/k That's awesome !!
I'm soooo glad he's changing his ways! Keep up the Praises
Cook his favorite dinner, put on his favorite outfit, and then let him have his way with you. LOL Have fun!
You might need to throw in some of the work he wants you to do. Everyone seems to think it's in the bedroom, and maybe it is. But to me, that's mutual. It's no more a reward for him than it is for me. It sounds like he really noticed you getting up with the baby. What else can you do to smooth his day the same way he is smoothing yours?
Let him know how much you appreciate everything he is doing. Do something special for him, such as make his favorite dinner or dessert. Get a sitter and treat him to a night out. Enjoy!
Tell him if he keeps it up you might pass out lol
I totally over exaggerate the situation when my hubby goes all cleaning crazy..
I say things like "alright, who's the girl"
":what are you trying to butter me up for?" and so on
He always just laughs at me.
You are going to be tired, you are a mom... just be thankful that he is doing as much as he is, and is cheerful about it!! Soon the baby will start sleeping through the night, youll get more sleep, and your husband will still be doing all that work!!!

That's really awesome! I knew he would eventually grow up...just like mine did ;)
PS - I am tired too.
Makes me wonder if your husband went onto the computer, looked at the history and read your posts about him and all the responses!
Hi S.
I'm very happy for you that things are going in the right direction.
Wishing for you now some more sleep LOL
