Hi everyone,
I am making something where i want to glue felt to metal. a small item. what kind of glue do you find works best for that combination? I say small item because a spray would be difficult ans wasteful. I also need to glue paper to paper. I've always used elmer's, but sometimes it is just too much. i may try to use a brush to keep it thin. also, would modgepodge work on the paper to paper? I made some and still have it. thanks so much for your suggestions!

What can I do next?

Gorilla Glue works well.

Tacky Glue is great for crafts.

Another great bonding material is mixing Wood Glue with super glue. Felt to metal is tough to make stick. So spread a little super glue on first, then the Wood Glue, then stick together.

I'd use Tacky glue for the felt to metal.

For paper, I love rubber cement.

But I also love Mod Podge! I think it would work just fine. :)

I always go to my local Ace hardware person and ask these questions. I needed to glue an insole into clogs and they recommended a 2 part epoxy. We also have tacky glue from the craft store for almost everything else.

I would try a tacky glue, sold in craft stores. You can always thin it out a little with water if need be. For your felt to metal craft you might also try hot glue - it dries fast and holds pretty good.
