so my kids wrote one, stamped it, mailed it and it is addressed to the north pole.... will it come back ???
No....it will not come back. I lived in Fairbanks Alaska...on the outskirts of town is the Santa House in North Pole, AK. I have been inside before...it's kinda like a tourist attraction. All the walls inside are covered from top to bottom with letters from children all over the world....it is the neatest thing. There are thousands of them!!! Maybe you can take a virtual tour online. Merry Christmas!!!
My kids' all went into their memory bins -- the letters are so cute!!
But there is actually a place somewhere that receives the Santa Letters, and I can't remember what they do with them. I'm sure someone else will know. If they are really cute, make a copy before sending.
Our local park district had a Santa's mailbox. They then sent us letters the next week. Maybe you could look into something like that for next year?
Or, you could do the Video Santa thing.
Well, I go to "Free Santa Letters.com" and print the letter. It has worked wonders so far! Adressed an evelope with a stamp and sent it. After a few day's, A letter from santa arrived!
If you addressed it to the Santa House, North Pole AK, than it will go to his house here in Alaska. :) They answer as many as they can, but they get a ton so they can not answer everybody.
