Have you tried to return it?
I bought an anniversary band and it does not look the way I want it to with my wedding rings. I have worn it for 6 hours. Otherwise it is brand new. It is 18K white gold with 0.5 carats of diamonds. It is a beautiful ring and I have just thought about keeping it and wearing it on the other hand by itself, but I really wanted another band to go with my wedding rings. I listed it on Craigslist with zero luck. I just don't know where else to try to sell it. Any ideas?? Has anyone had any luck with Arlington Gold and Silver? I just hate to take a hit on it since it is brand new.
Thanks so much.

Sold it on Craigslist! Thanks!

Try Dallas gold and Silver. There is one in the HEB area. Check their website. They should give you a good price.
Mr. Ford at the corner of Bowen and Pioneer Parkway can be trusted. We have bought and sold with him for over 25 years.
What size is it and how much do you want for it? Can you send a picture to me at ____@____.com ? Thanks
Where did you get the ring from? You might check and see if they would let you trade it in towards another piece of jewelry!
Can you not return it to where you bought it? Arlington Gold & Silver exchange is a reputable place as far as I'm concerned, but you will not get near what you paid for it there. I wish you luck!
i second troy vinson! he also has another store, i think in granbury. all my good stuff comes from his store!
I really don't have an answer to your question but I might suggest you call a reputable jeweler and ask them what their advice is. I would HIGHLY recommend Troy Vinson Jewelers in SW Fort Worth. They are an old Fort Worth business and I would trust them with my jewelry beyond a shadow of a doubt. They are wonderful. They are in the shopping center at the corner of Hulen and I-20 (on the northwest corner) just a few doors down from the Albertson's. Their address may be listed as being on Loop 820. Give them a call and see what they might suggest.

I think you already know the answer. You are not going to move the ring without a "hit". Most jewelry is marked up 5 to 10 time cost. So you would good to get 10 cents on the dollar. Your best bet is to sell it to an individual and hop for 50% of retail value. I've heard bad things about the companies that buy gold so be careful there. You might consider just putting it up and keeping for your daughter. And I've never had any luck with Craig's list. I have done OK on eBay; but have not sold any jewelry. Luck to you.
