Prairie Creek Park in Richardon has a really cool waterfall (looks great in pictures) and a few bridges. I don't know if there are any flowers in bloom this time of year though. It's off 75 just north of Campbell.
Hi Mamas,
I have a friend who has offered to take pics of my family. She'll be coming from Arlington and we'll be coming from McKinney. We are meeting early on a weekend morning and I'd like to meet somewhere near Dallas so she doesn't have to drive as far. Somewhere off of 35 or 75 would work great. I'd love if the place had some pretty features like water, flowers, etc. Also, she's going to take some fun snapshots with the kids, so if the location has a small playground, that would be great.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the advice!

The Lake in Highland Park " Turtle Creek" would be GREAT!! We actually took our family pics there this winter and they turned out amazing! There is a small playground and some little statues that the kids love to play-around on!
The Arboretum in Garland (just off 635 W and Garland Rd) is absolutely AWESOME!!
Also, Turtle Creek is wonderful! (Dallas)
This doesn't really meet your location request, but there is a beautiful park at Texas Women's University near The Little Chapel in the Woods. We had picures taken there in the fall and they were great. There is a bunch of stone walls and benches and a little pond with fish and gardens all around. Then there is a bigger pond with a water fountain in the middle.
