Hi - after struggling with cleaning up our yard after the kids went to bed tonight, we've decided we'd really like to have someone come in to clean up our front and back yard a couple times a month (blow the gravel, trim bushes and trees etc.). However, my husband is guessing it's a lot more expensive than my guess. Can you help us resolve this disagreement? How much is it? Can you recommend a good company? We have a great kid who comes and does ours. He does several in our community actually. I think I pay him $15-$20 depending on what he does. You can contact me privately if you want his contact info. He's a highschool student who owns his own yard services business.
Tony Lawn service is a good company and they charge $60 for a bi-weekly clean. They will come out for a fixed fee though for a one time clean up if you want. they are in the phone book.

Our family has the same situation. Our yard is HUGE and my hubby travels a lot and doesn't have time to do the upkeep.
We use a very reliable man named Antonio and he charges us $80 per month for 2 visits and doing the front and back yard. He speaks only Spanish but his wife takes care of scheduling so it's not an issue.

I did the research a while ago and found that most landscaping companies will charge between 100 and 150 a month depending on how often they come out. If your yard is all desert then it only needs to be done once a month. If you have grass, then probably twice a month. Do you see any of your neighbors getting their yards done? That's a good way to find a company that goes to your area. Most companies send an owner/manager out to do an estimate on the property for the work and then if you choose them, set you up on their calendar for how often it is needed. To make sure you get the best price, I would let the person know that you are looking at several companies and will let them know if you will choose them over the phone. BTW, I recommend BIM's Landscaping - they are a christian family run business that I have known all my life.

my guy is $30 a pop and requires we use him weekly. he is not the greatest though, so i wouldn't recommend him.
