Advise for 7 Year Old B-day Party!!

I am having my daughters B-day party at the house this year. We've always done them at places so this is the first time at the house! I thought we would set up "stations" in the back yard and have some girls decorating flip-flops.Some would be getting make-overs in one station (with my older daughters help),and then do a pinata, pin the crown on the princess, then pizza/cake and ice cream. Birthday Party Place

I am interested in finding a place to host a birthday party for my daughter turning 6 and son turning 5. Their birthdays are three days apart so we usually throw a combined birthday, so need something fun for girls and boys. I want to find something different than Chuck E Cheese or Pump it Up. We live in North Dallas so close to us is good too. Also relatively inexpensive (less than $10 per child) since there will be around 25 kids attending. Yes we want it all- close, different, inexpensive, for both girls and boys. Any ideas on places?...

Ideas for Adoption Shower

Moms, I have given many showers but I have a new one I'm planning now. I have a friend that is adopting a 7 year old daughter and we would like to give them a shower before the girl is with them full time at the end of the month. I have several people helping me but we would like to know some great ideas that you have done or heard of since it isn't for a baby. Thanks so much for all of your help! S.
