Diapers That Don't Leak Through

I just got my son sleeping through the night about a month and a half ago. Before when he was waking up during the night I would change him. Now that he is sleeping his diaper always leaks through. I don't want to go in and change him during the night to wake him up because if he wakes up he is up for at least an hour or so. I was just wondering if I could get a few mom's opinions on what diapers don't leak. I currently use Huggies. It is hard for me because I dont have a washer and dryer so I go to my parents house to do laundry once...

Cloth and Other Environmentally Friendly Diapers?

Hello all! I have a one year old still in diapers, my three year old is potty trained, but I am expecting another sometime next Summer. SO... I have always used disposable diapers because, well, when I first got pregnant I was not really aware of my other options and we didn't have oodles of money to spend. Now I am looking at cloth diapers. I had thought about the flushables, like gDiapers, but those seem ridiculously expensive. So, I have been looking at things like Fuzzi Buns which are pocket diapers, and then other cloth diapers Imse...

Son Soaking Through Diaper, Pj's, Sheets at Night

My son is 2 years, 8 months and not yet potty trained (trying but to not avail at this point). He is in a big boy bed and OFTEN wakes up at night soaked through EVERYTHING. We have switched to nighttime diapers as one solution, and for a while they seemed to work, but lately he's soaking through those as well. I know one of the reasons is that he sleeps on his side, which doesn't have a lot of reinforcement in the diaper. But the diaper is also soaked/full which is causing it to overflow. So tired of the wake-ups, changing sheets, and...

Question About Diapers

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a really good brand of diapers for me to put on a one year old during the night. We have always used the Walmart brand, but that doesn't seem to be cutting it anymore at night; my daughter has been waking up completely soaked. Thanks!!! -Jenny G.

Allergic to Disposable Diapers?

Our daughter has broken out about 6 times in the past 8 months with severe welts. This started when she was in cloth diapers and then later in disposable diapers. We contributed the first couple of breakouts to lavendar. The first time was when I used Essential Lavendar oil in her wipe solution and the second time when I put lavendar lotion on her. (It took the second time to figure out the connection!) Then in the past week, she has broken out 3 more times. At first we thought it was us changing our dryer sheet brand to Bounce. We...

Seeking Fun with a 1 Yr Old

My husband, son and I always loved going to the beach and camping. Last summer was a big bummer for our family because we couldn't do much of the stuff we enjoy because we had a newborn. This summer I think it would be fine to go to the beach and camping with our 1 yr. old, but other people still think she's too young. I'm just trying to get other people veiws on this subject. Please no rude feed back. Thank you.
