Best Baby Shower Gift You Received

I am invited to a baby shower for a woman who's first child goes to school and after-school care with my own children. Her first son is six and she is pregnant again with another boy. I've been to their house a couple of times and they seem to be the type that could go out and buy anything they wanted or needed at anytime - where as we're living paycheck to paycheck and still trying to make ends meet. Birthday Theme Ideas

My sister and I throw one big birthday party for our kids. My sons birthday is only 1 week away from her daughters. So for the family and friends we just do one party. Last year we did a Farm theme and took them to Fiesta Farm. Did all decor and cakes etc. to go with it. I loved it. This year I cant think of a theme that both my son and her daughter will like or that is unisex. She thinks we should just do a seperate theme for each kids. But I really want a theme. I love them and to go all out for them. Should I let them have there own?...

Joint Party for Boys 15 Years Apart

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions on how to do a joint party. I have 2 sons who share the same exact birthday but are 15 years apart. My oldest will be 16 and the baby will of course be one. Just not sure how to go about it. We really can't afford to do two parties. My oldest doesn't mind having a joint party and said the theme is not big deal.

2Nd Birthday Party Ideas...Anyone???

My daughter will be turning 2 on April 24th. I'll be celebrating her birthday on the 19th. Last year we did an outdoor BBQ. It was cold, cloudy, and we beat the rain by 10 minutes. I'd love to do outdoor because I refuse track 50 people through my house. I can't stand Chuck E. Cheese and The Jungle at Saratoga Shopping Center is asking for $600+ to throw a 45 minute party. Need Help with Entertainers for First Birthday Party!!

My son will be turning 1 this coming month and I don't have any entertainers. I actually need more then that, one male bartender (for the dads), a catering company (mexican food). maybe a magician, or just a group of guys or girls that will do some type of dance or sports with the kiddos.
