Nutramigen Ready to Feed or Powdered....

IS NUTRAMIGEN LIQUID DIFFERENT FROM NUTRAMIGEN POWDER? My 1 month old son has acid reflux so spitt up and gas are a Huge deal in my house. Her pedi just switched him to Nutramigen/ rice cereal to help with spitt up and colic. Before he was on similac advance/rice cereal but the liquid kind. I tried the powdered similac advance and it made him spitt up even more. Today I tried the powdered nutramigen and sure enough he spitt up a lot. Is the liquid one any different than the powdered one?

Advice About Hypoallergenic Formula

Has anyone had success getting an infant to drink Allimentum? And/or has anyone had an infant who had problems with it? My breastfed 6 month old is allergic to milk/soy and our only formula option is hypoallergenic...she will drink 2 oz at most of this stuff - in the past she has rejected other formulas and ultimately we determined it was b/c they didn't agree with her (i.e. made her violently ill in a few cases). I hesitate to force the issue for fear that she'll negatively react to larger quantities of this stuff. Any advice is...

Weening off Nutramigen

I have a 4 month old who has been on Nutramigen since he was 2 months because of bad reflux. He's not lactose intolerant; he just had some gastro issues to work through. I've been told by the doctor that we could start weening him off it around now (it's killing our pocket book)! Has anyone had any experience/advice doing this?

Organic Formula Issue

I have been working real hard to make sure my 8 mos. olds diet is as good as it can be. I make all her food (all organic veggies and fruits)....only all natural food and drink products. However, I wasnt able to sucessfully breastfeed so she is fed formula. I tried to have her on Organic formula but she has a bad reaction to soy and its in every organic milk formula I have looked for. Does anyone know of any organic formulas that do not contain any soy? or any suggestions? I just tried to change it back to the organic again thinking...

From Soy Formula to Soy Milk?

Hi Mom's, My daughter is 14 months old. When she was about 3 months I switched her to soy formula due to acid reflux and gas. I had some of the same issues with my other 2 kids so I felt comfortable going to a soy based formula(which my pedi agreed). When she turned 1 I started giving her cows milk.
