I had a mylegram done. The procedure wasn't too bad. Honest.
Take your mp3 or cd player with you and perhaps the Dr will let you use it during the procedure.

Good luck--let us know how you did.

Hi L.,

I have never had this procedure done, but I'm sure it will be ok. I know that is easy for me to say considering I haven't had it done to me. But I have had three surgeries done this year and I know how apprehensive you can be regarding the procedure. I will send a prayer for you and be strong, God will always be with you as well as your guardian angel. Good Luck.

I haven't had the procedure but you have my prayers, and do what you did when you were in labor that might help. I have constant sciatica because my bottom disc is too thin so I might not be far off from this or something similar. But you are definitely in my prayers. Everything will be ok.

I hope this goes better for you than it did me. The procedure started out pretty painfully, but soon the ansthesia was turned up and I don't remember the rest of it. I had it done about 4 years ago, at Cape Fear Hosptial by Dr. Mark Foster in Wilmington, NC. I was in worse pain after the procedure than before. DH had to literally pick my feet & legs up so that I could get up the steps into the house. I couldn't walk for days. I couldn't stand up from the sofa. I got stuck in the floor in the bathroom at one point. The new pain lasted for about two weeks.
I have chronic back pain, 3 herniated discs, spondylosis, arthritis. Been on disability for 6 years and I am 34.
