E.
My name is E.(like Melodie without the M). It is French(I'm not), but it is a popular name there. I have a daughter with a middle name Jordan. So,
E. Jordan(just a thought).
Hello moms! I am having number 2 daughter in about 5 weeks and I still have not nailed down a name for her. I waited until our first daughter was born to decide then I let my husband pick it out. But this time it is MY choice! :) I am wanting to use my mom's name some how but I can't figure out what to do. Her initials are EJ and her maiden name is Ash. Her middle name is Jean but for my own reasons I don't want to use that in anyway. Her first name is Eula and you can't do much with that either. (She HATES her name by the way) But I would like to use her initials or maiden name some how. Her grandmother's name was Emmaline, which I love, but can't decide on a name with "J" that will flow with it. I could also use the E as the middle. I just can't decide! Any thoughts?! Thank you!!!

I am about to have my last child which is a boy. So the name I have been holding onto for years for a girl will never be used and I absolutely LOVED it. It was Violet James. I know James is typically a boys name but I think it is sooo cute and unique as a girls name and it goes with everything!
.....by the way I'm E.
I LOVE Emmaline! Such a gorgeous name!! I would suggest keeping the middle name shorter. I have an Elizabeth Aiden. After filling out so many forms, I'm glad the middle name isn't as long as the first. :-P
Emmaline Ashton
Emmaline Jade
I think joy is a great middle name choice. Maybe Evangeline?
I like Ashley too! Or Ashleigh, Ashlyn. I love emmaline, or Emma, eliza, Elisabeth, ellery, elle, Ericka, Elise, Eva, Evelyn, eve, Erin, elin, emerson, jeannine, jeanette, Jaclyn, janine, janae, jess, Jesse, jesslyn, joline/Joleen, Josephine, Josie, Joanna, Jane, Jade, Jocelyn, Julia, jacee, Jenna, Jill, Jillian.
Depending on your last name I like emmaline Jane or emmaline Janae or jade or if it's a short last name emmaline Josephine. I have two daughters too, so much fun, congrats!
My daughter is Jenna Elizabeth...
I also love Emmaline. That's beautiful.
Emmaline Josephine (Emma Jo for short) could also work, although good luck when she gets to Kindergarten and needs to write her full name... lol.
I love Emmaline Ash too. I think when it's family names, it doesn't matter to me as much on how popular they are. It's a family name & you are honoring & creating a legacy. I love Emmaline. I'm sure it will get shortened to Emma. Ashlyn, Ashton, Ashley are possibilities too, but do not start w/an E of course. Emmaline Jane is cute, and EJ is a cute nickname. Good luck!
Eaven(irish-means beautiful) pronounced eve-ahn.
Elara
Eliza
What about emmaline Jocelyn-- I think that is super pretty~
Ok-- J names:
Jamila, Jordan, Journey, Justine
Hope this helps! Congrats. Have a happy, safe delivery.
Molly
How about Ashlyn Jeanette or Ava Jeanette
You could always go with J. Elizabeth - oh wait - that's me!
Seriously though Emmaline is a beautiful name - you mentioned Ash, so how abut Emmaline Ashley? Or Emmaline Ashley Jordan... give her lots of names :)
I also love Emma Jane or Elena June.
I really love Emmaline, and the suggestion for Emmaline Ash is what I thought of too... it seems to really honor your mom and grandmother! good luck and have fun with the names:)
Eula reminded me immediately of Julia.
Ashley Julia would be nice. Or Julia Ashley.
Our third little girl will be here in 20 days and her name will be Samantha Jayne. I liked the unusual spelling and Jayne would compliment Emmaline as well, in my opinion:).
I love how you are usuing your moms name/initials. Since you already love Emmaline, what about Joy for a middle name? You could even call her Emma-Joy, I think double names are too cute! Blessings to you! Hope you find the perfect name!
My 2 daughters both have middle names that were their great-grandmothers: Eleanor and Josephine. I like the name Emmaline too, that's very pretty and it's different than just "Emma", which is also pretty but very common now.
You could go with:
Emmaline Josephine
Emmaline Juliana
Emmaline June
Emmaline Joy
I just had another thought: Is it pronounced "Emmalyn"? Maybe you could change the spelling to make it easier for people to pronounce. My girls first names are Kaitlyn and Madelyn, and I chose the "lyn" spelling so that people will not think it's pronounced "line" with a long i... just a thought.
I like Emmaline. Very pretty. However Emily and Emma has been quite popular in the past several years and realistically she will probably get a nickname since Emmaline is a longer name. You might want to proactively call her "Lina" if you don't want her to be "Emma". I also like Evalina and Eris. As for middle names, I think a short name would compliment Emmaline: Jewel, Jillian or Jill, Jess, or Jane.
How about:
Emmalie Jane
Eva Jeanette
Ashley Ella Janelle
Eden Jade
Jemma Elise
emmaline jo
jessica for a j name
erin jo

emmaline jordash maybe hmm

Our third child's name is Ellah Jane.
Good luck!

Eileen is a name that is old, but being used again today. My mother hated her name (Ida) and made me promise I would never name a child after her. So I named my daughter after her sister, Charlotte, who was most like my mother. My daughter loves her name.
What about Jane? You would have a "J" name and it would also use the same letters as Jean but it wouldn't be "Jean"
J- Joy.
I like just using Ash as is. . .But as others shared, a lot of variations on that.
My suggestion though, Emmaline Joy.
I'm partial to the middle name Joy. Emmaline Joy, sounds good to me!! Or, you could also name her Ashley Emmaline. Congratulations!
A. Joy
LOVE Emmaline! what a great name. Emmaline joy or Emmaline Jane are my favorites. I am having a girl in two weeks and we are naming her Ellie. This is my third girl. I know finding names can be so hard! I have a very unusual name and was named after both of my grandmothers (V. Jean) I love my name and think it is so special.
How about Emma Jane? We loved that name, but ended up with three boys! Congrats and good luck!
Elsie Jo
Ejay Ash
Emily Jane
Emma Jean
Jane Elizabeth
Josie Emmaline
Jessa Elaine
Jessa Emmaline
Julia Ash
Emmaline June
Emmaline Jane
Emmaline Jessa
What about Jeanie Emmaline.
You've received a lot of great names. How about Emma Jewel, Elise Jasmine, Eden Janae, Eunice Joelle, or Eve Joelle? Let us know what you decide......
What about Emmaline Ash? I think "Ash" is a pretty middle name all by itself.
Eleanor Ash - I know you want to do EJ, I think using the ASH is cute, or Ashley.
I love the name Eleanor
I love the name Ester that starts with an E. For a J, I like June, Jade, Janna & Jael. I know you'll come up with a beautiful name. Congrats on your upcoming baby girl! :)
How about the name Evadina (Eh-va-deena)? It's different but pretty. I always get told that my name is pretty, its A.. Good luck deciding.
I saw alot of good names listed already but these two came to mind:
Jada or Jaden I also have and Aunt named Joressa! Good luck!
I just thought of another J name this evening.....Jaylee.
I think that the initials are cool, EJ or E-Jay. I have an older brother and his name is LJ and then the last name. I also like Elan Jo.
Jorja Ash (pronounced Georgia)
Jorja Ashlene
Emmaline Jorja
Emma Jo
Jolene Ash
How about Jordyn Elexis
