Hello L.,
when we went to disney, I bought a single stove burner at walgreens for about $10. I took a couple of pots and it was good enough for warming up milk, and cooking some malt-o-meal for the kids. just an idea... =) have fun! ~C.~
My family is planning to take a 3-day trip to San Antonio with a friend's family. Since both families have young children (4, 2.5 and 1), we would like to stay in a "Suite" hotel with kitchen. We plan to visit Sea World and the river walk. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I found some great deals at Homewood suites on the riverwalk.
Try Budget Suites also. Call as soon as you know the dates of your vacation!! We have had a horrible time trying to find a reasonable price on hotels. Have fun!
Residence Inn by Marriot. There is one located close to the Alamo (I think Bonham street). You will have a choice of one or two bedroom suites with kitchen and a living area.
I don't know os specific suites in San Antonio but I do know of places such as Embassy Suites, Candlewood Suites, Residence Inn by Marriott, Summerfield Suites.
You might google those names and see what might be closest to the destination you need.
My hubby is on the road with business a LOT and I book all of his travel through the online site for the specific hotels. Sometimes they will guarantee the best deal over the outlets (expedia, priceline) online. When you book directly with a hotel, you are more secure to not get bumped if they start getting overbooked.
Also, we go to Sandestin every year and stay in a Jr Suite at the Hilton Sandestin Resort. This suite does not have a kitchenette BUT it does have a microwave, small fridge and storage for food. This comes in handy for us since we take our daughter and one of her friends along. If they sleep in, we are already up and out and they have access to fruits and hot cereals.
I just took a mom's night out by myself at San Antonio for a break. I stayed at the Hampton Inn Riverwalk area. It was ok. Suitable for me for 1 night. I was not in the room that much. I was shopping and on the riverwalk chilling out. When I was there with hubby though, we stayed at the Marriott which was on the riverwalk and very nice.
Have fun!
