I am in serious need of a Doctor that will listen, not make me wait for 45- 1hour and then rush in ask questions, not listen to the answers and run out the door to the next patient.
I have been to 3 different doctors and the above continues to happen. I have been having episodes of feeling faint, feeling as if I am going to throw up and pass out at the same time, heart racing, break out in a sweat, feeling very shaky, anxious and irritated for the rest of the day after these. They have run every blood test I know and all they found is my blood sugar is either really low or just a tad high. The episodes don't last more than a couple of minutes. But I have been sitting at my desk and woke up on the floor. So, I really need to find a doctor that is willing to do something other than pat me on the head and tell me to eat every 2 hours.
If you know of a good close one between Vista Lakes and Waterford Lakes I would really appreciate knowing who they are so I can give them a try.
I would like to stay around for my kids and husband at least until they are grown. LOL!

What can I do next?

I would recommend an internist who is located at the corner of Curry Ford and Conway at Centered Health Care. Her name is Sandra Stine, MD. She has always listened to me. I'd recommend that you go in with your list of concerns in writing. I can easily forget little details if I don't methodically go through the things on my list so this helps me stay on track. Dr. Stine talks fast and gets to the point quickly but she will listen. I don't know if this location works for you, but I drive a little further because I like her. She does my gyn exam with my annual physical so it's one stop and I'm done for the year unless I get sick. The office number is ###-###-####.

I go to Dr. Ronald Lynch in Sanford. He practices Integrative medicine, meaning he can prescribe alternative treatments. He accepts insurance.

Hi T.,
I have a doctor that I like for the very qualities you are looking for, availability to and time for the patient. He is a bit more of a heavy medicator than I prefer, but when I need a doctor, he is, in my opinion, the best in many ways. His name is Dr. John Hirt with Winter Park Family Practice. He is in Winter Park near 436 and Aloma. I usually do not wait long to see him. His nurses and his receptionist are quite nice.

I don't know how you feel about alternative health solutions, but I am big on them. If I need help on that, I go to the suppliment section at Whole Foods or Chamberlains and ask some questions. They are not allowed to diagnose, of course, but can direct you to help many times.

I don't know of one in the Vista Lakes or Waterford Lakes area, but if you are willing to go a little farther afield, I know an absolutely wonderful one in the Winter Park area. All the dr's at this clinic are good, Winter Park Family Practice, but Dr. Todd is really a gift from God.

We LOVE Paul Bucolo, PA-C, Certified Physician Assistant at University Health Center, Orlando. (My husband loves him as well & usually he can't stand the mannerism of doctors because of what you stated above.) Dr. Bucolo's phone number ###-###-####.

He is amazing. You don't wait long -- and he always tries to get you in asap. But if you do end up waiting because of an emergency, he acts as if you are old friends & he has all the time in the world. He cares about the "total" person. I went in for a painful foot & he's also concerned about my sleep habits; anxiety attacks (I mentioned). He's the total package. He's young; caring; and very practical. His sidekick Dr. Joan Wilson; I've heard is very good as well -- but she is very difficult to get in to see & he's usually readily available.

Hope this helps
