Is the H2O Mop Any Good?

I just saw an ad for the H2O mop and am wondering if it's worth it. The price doesn't seem too excessive, but I hate paying for a product that I may not find worth it. Has anyone used it or know anyone that has one?

Thanks!

E.,

Just an expensive toy, It was fun at first but I don't grab it to clean my floors. I left my mom do it on my hardwoods she nearly destroyed 2500 sq ft of hardwood. She didn't even notice she was ruining my floors! You have to keep it moving! I would never reccommend it. Hope it helps. -L.

I had the "Shark" and took it back, as it just didn't get hot enough (for me) to be effective.I researched for two days and finally bought the "Monster" steam cleaner (from Sam's Club..$80). It not ONLY does floors, but EVERYTHING (and I mean EVERYTHING!) in your home. It was great when my son threw up in the bathroom and kinda "missed" the toilet (ugh). I didn't have to touch any of it,and the detailer got it out of the pesky seat bolts that you can never get dirt or anything else out of. I highly recommend it...plus, your hubby/partner will love it! :)

I don't know if its the same thing, but we have the Steam Shark and highly recommend it. We first saw it on a local news station, who tested it and gave it 4 out of 4 stars. Then I saw more good ratings on Amazon.

It really cleans our hardwood and tile floors so well. And you only need distilled water for it. Dries quickly, with no streaks.

I have the one from QVC, so it's not exactly the same brand, but same concept. We like QVC b/c you can return anything up to 30 days for any reason.

I absolutely love the thing! It is so easy to use and it does work great, you can see the dirt on the microfiber and it dries the floor so quickly. I love that there are no chemicals being used, too. I throw the pads in with the jeans and am ready to go next time. I have all sealed hardwood and tile in my house (only 3 bedrooms have carpet), so it gets a lot of use.

Hi E., I too was intriqued with this mop. But upon reading the reviews, I opted not to purchase it. I did end up getting a Lysol Steam mop from walmart.com. I think Conair makes it. It was a lot cheaper than the H2O and It works great. I convinced a friend to get one also, and she too loves it.

I have it/owned it for a year and love it! It is amazing! I really like the confidence I have when I have kids crawling on my kitchen floor, and knowing that not only is it very clean, it is cleaning product free...Only uses steam, and it lifts everything...I can not say enough postive things about it...works great on carpets too....VERY LITE WEIGHT!

Hello! I borrowed one from a friend to "test drive" before I spent $100+ for one. Im soooo glad I did! I personally wasnt impressed...I thought the cord was toooo short, I had to unplug it to get from one end of our kitchen to the other (its not a huge kitchen), then it lost its steam & took a bit for it to get back up again. Plus I got streaks & had to go over it again with my regular mop! Perhaps I didnt know how to use it right to prevent streaks?!? I didnt try it on our carpet- just a laminate that looks like hard wood. Good luck w/ your decision!

E.,
I got the H2O mop for Xmas last year and love it! I used to get on my hands and knees to clean the kitchen floor - sometimes twice a day due to all the eating mess my kids make. The mop is so good that I use it now instead and don't have to use chemicals each time. I recommend it!
