Okay, so it's Halloween on Monday, and there are lots of activities going on around here all weekend. What events & activities are you planning on participating in? And, which are you going to avoid like the plague?

For us, we are going to a "Fall Harvest" festival at my girl's daycare/church on Saturday night. Sunday, we're going to take her to see Puss 'n Boots (she loves the commercials/previews). Monday, we're going to take her trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood (and pass out candy)!

We are absolutely avoiding the Mall (they do trick-or-treating at the stores), the Zoo (went to Zoo-Boo last year and it was insanely packed), and the local Haunted Houses!!

What can I do next?

Well, our ex's were supposed to have the kids but mine called and said hes having an "allergic reaction" so that means I will get the kids after school and he will milk it as long as possible before picking them up. Ugh. Luckily my hubby and I didn't have big plans for tonight but we were (and still will after the kids are picked up) going to see The Thing.

Since we live in AZ and its still in the upper 80s here, we are heading up to the mountains tomorrow to be in some cool air! I can't wait to actually wear real shoes (not flip flops!), pants and gasp...maybe even a sweater! Yahoo!
We love going up there, its only about 70 miles and there's lots of little shops, restaraunts and even a movie theater so we go for the day and sometimes stay over night.

No plans for Sunday which is what Sunday's are for! We may go check out a new church but other than that, maybe rent some movies and enjoy the quiet before the kids get home.

My husbands boss is having a big Halloween party tonight but we are just not in the mood to go. Not really feeling it this year but we are all dressing up to scare the kids on Halloween night. =)

Going to go to the Roller Derby here in town on Saturday, then going to see a movie Monday night. The hub and I try to avoid the kids on Halloween. I know were both kind of Halloweenies but, we only have gotten 4 people at our place for candy in times past and we don't see the point of staying home when we get so few at our door.

Pizza and movie night tonight with family.

Tomorrow we will carve pumpkins and we are going to a Halloween Party/Fall Festival at church.

Sunday is church and family day.

Monday is the pumpkin patch and then neighborhood Halloween Party and trick or treating. We have no school on Monday so it will be a party day...all day.

We are avoiding our downtown Halloween festivities...waaaaay too many people.

Good luck and best wishes at having a great Halloween weekend!!

This weekend is my husband's first complete weekend off in over 2 months! He will be taking my oldest out tomorrow on a "Daddy-Matthew date." I will be setting out to get some mega-cleaning done, and trying to find a Sheriff Woody hat for my 2 yr old's costume. His hat looks like a pack of wild dogs got at it.

Monday we'll do some quick TorTreating, pass out candy for about an hour or so, and then put the candy on the porch as a "help yourself" deal, and head out to dinner.
