Need a little less stress, so just for fun, what is something absolutely adorable or unexpectedly cute that your kid(s) have done, at any age? Be it a cute little sentence when their young to a their idea day out with mom or dad?

Mine would have to be when my youngest brother got scared during a bad storm, and had a nightmare that the storm was attacking the house, and he ran into our older brother's room and curled up in bed with him. Our older brother took him in his arms and hugged him til they both fell asleep. Ty was 22, and Reece was 8.

Yes, i don't have kids of my own, but i have had to take care of quite a few which i have lived with. I've been in foster care for most of my life.

What can I do next?

Last year when my oldest was 4, my middle was 2, and my baby was about 10 mos, I was getting out of the shower and both the baby and the 2 yr old were in their cribs, screaming. My oldest ran into the room and sweetly said to them, "Ok, boys, don't freak out, Big Brother Matthew is here!" They stopped crying instantly--that little boy has a heart of gold!

my 3 1/2 year old grandson is with me for the weekend. He wanted me to pick him up and I told him I couldn't because my shoulder is sore. He says "Here, I'll kiss it" and he does. Then he says "I'm a much better kisser!" I said "Oh yeah?" and he goes "Yeah, I kiss ALL the LADIES when they get a bonk!"

And no, his dad is NOT a womanizer, he's actually a huge teddy bear kind of guy, soft spoken, respectful and sweet. My daughter about wet herself laughing over that one!

My daughter is 9... but she STILL loves to hug and kiss me, like as though she is a huge Octopus. All arms and legs, wrapped around me and she won't let go!
Its still really nice, because some kids her age/grade level, don't even do that with their Moms, anymore already.

My son, who is 5, always comes to give me a hug and kiss in the morning and tells me "Mommy, why are you the best Mommy in the whole wide world?" That is his routine, EVERY morning. One morning though, he "forgot" to do that... and he came and apologized to me... and said "I hope I didn't hurt your feelings Mommy, I was just too excited to play with my new Legos as soon as I woke up...." but then he gave me his hug and kiss and "Why are you the best Mommy...." soliloquy.

My daughter Faith was about 5 years old when her step mother took her to the doctor for her vaccinations needed to enter kindergarten. They arrived at the doctors office, when Faith began insisting they fetch her purse from the car, she had forgotten to bring it in. Her stepmother quickly realized why this 5 yr old girl so badly needed her purse. Faith opened her purse for the doctor and said " You see all this money in my purse, well its all yours, but that means NO SHOTS. Do we have a deal ?"

We just got back from our first family camping trip. My daughter is five and would tell anyone she met, "Happy Camping!" as if everyone were celebrating some sort of camp birthday.

She sat by the mesh zipper window of our tent and would wave to other campers as they walked to and from their campsites while yelling, "HAPPY CAMPING!"

Cracked me up every single time.

A few years ago I needed a new bra. I took my daughter who was 3 at the time, with me shopping. After finding my size I look back up to my daughter in the cart and she has a bra in hand, her shirt pulled up to her chin and she's holding the bra where she thinks it goes in front of her and says: "Mommy, I don't have anything for this to fit on me."

I don't think I'll ever forget that one. There are countless others but I think that was the cutest!

My daughter, age 3, standing over her brother, age one, saying "You wanna piece of me little brother???"

or my daughter, at age 4, singing "Blah Blah Black Sheep Henny Whenny Whole"!

or my son at age 4 telling the pre-k screeners my name was 'Sweet Heart' (as that's all he'd ever heard from his dad)

I could go on all night long. You'll have to buy the book if you want more!

I think my son was 4 years old and I was getting on to him for not listening one day. Well I had him on my lap talking to him he takes his hands and squeezes my cheeks together and says "Mommy I love you so much." I laughed, kissed him, told him I loved him too and that he needed to try a little bit harder to listen. Still to this day, he's 6, he does little things that make me laugh and that I think is so very cute.

My 4 year old calls her daddy her "bestest best buddy" and her best friend her "bestest best stister". Melts my heart!

My girls are 4 and 11 and today my 11 year old said, "Hey, you! I want some snuggles!" 4 year old crawled up in her arms and they snuggled up together in a chair. ♥

Last night my mom was feeding my 15 month old son sweet potatoes and his eye was itchy, so he took her hand and rubbed his eye with it because his was all gooey. It was really cute!

This one isn't really cute, but it sure was funny! We were in the horse barns at the fair yesterday my 2.75 year old daughter was standing between me and a horse stall. The horse we had just been petting decided it was time for dinner and let out a really loud complaint that scared her so bad I think she might have flown those 5 feet from where she had been standing and me. It was so funny to see her jump and fly so much! She calmed down when I told her he was just hungry. She said we should get some hay from the goats (we had just been there) and give it to him. It was funny and cute at the same time.

One was when we try to explain to our 4 year old(at the time) that we celebrate father's day for the daddys like we do mother's day for the mommys. The day of father's day she told my husband(her daddy) "happy mother's day." lol. It was cute but to the wrong one.lol...

Another was when I was in Walmart and had my 4 year old(now 5) in the buggy and she kept asking questions about stuff on the shelf. A woman over heard and said something about how cute she was. I smiled and said yeah and walk passed her. my daughter said "why did that lady said i was cute?" knowing that my daughter talks loud and the lady heard her ask me the question and she started to laugh.lol.

I always love when my kids tell me "mommy your the best mommy in the whole world" or "Mommy you so beautiful."

not cutest ever but cutest recently was my 5 year old. Shes a smart alec already. In the past when she wanted a treat, or go to a drive through. After the order was done I would say "M wheres my money? it costs x amount and I need it from you" usually she would get a little worried and say "mom you know I dont have money I am a kid"... so the other day, after screams for ice cream were granted, I was in the drive thru of Dairy Queen and heard the cost. I says "whoa 10 dollars thats too much for Ice Cream, M where is the money? I dont have it" my daughter angelically looks at me, tilts her head, winks and does the gun motion with her fingers saying " I put it in your wallet mom, check it out!" with the serious/smirk grin of a professional stand up comic. Made me laugh till I was blue.

My daughter is 4. I refer to her as Honey (among other things), and I have heard the term being used at her pre-school too. A few weeks ago while we were out, she pointed to a group of adults and asked "Do you think they have Honey's too?" meaning, did I think they had kids? I thought that was really cute, she thinks all kids are Honey's!

Also when she was about 20 months old, I was taking her out of her car seat one winter morning, and she says "antlers" while pointing up into the sky. I'm looking up thinking "what? antlers? what is she talking about??", then I realized the trees had no leaves and the branches DID look like antlers!

Oh, when she used to say froggies, it sounded like fuckies.. lol..

My son used to hear "on your mark, get set, go" for the start of races or for playing with hot wheels. (Say it fast, and you'll get the next part...) I think he also heard "start your engines." So, positioning his toy car on a ramp, he called out "on your market, get started! Ready, set, go!" So we still say "on your market..."

My friend's granddaughter was squatting down on the patio and said, "Gramma, I made a pee!" My friend replied, "Oh, did you wet your pants?" The child looked at her quizzically, held up her sidewalk chalk and said, "No Gramma, I made a P". And she had - the letter P!
