Laser Spider Vein Treatment

Laser is only done for very light spider veins (like on the face). For more severe ones (mostly on legs) injections are done. Injections hurt more than the laser. I've done infections twice. It works. It's not comfortable, but not the worst pain I've ever felt either.

I am interested in this too. I talked to my dermatologist who wants to do the injections, but I prefer the laser. I had a laser treatment done on my face many years ago when I lived in Arizona. It was for spider veins/acne scars. It worked and just felt like a zap, like when you touch an electrical outlet during cold, dry weather - you get a zap. Not really painful.

If you hear of any good leads on laser for the legs, please let me know. I will do the same.

I have not done the Laser but I did the injections. They worked, they are gone.Depending on how many you have for them to do it could take 1/2 hour to an hour and you can go back to work. You will have to wear compression hose for 3 weeks. Everyone bruises differently and after the bruises are gone your good to go. They are small needles and they feel like a sharp pinch. So I think it depends on your tollerance for pain. I have a high tollerence so it was not bad for me.

Not sure were you are from but I went to Dr. Ryan on Hunt Club in Gurnee.

I had it done on my legs. It's a tiny pin poke & it heals after a week.

Are you talkin about endovenous laser of just superficial one? I had both. If you are interested I will share the info.
