The Santa at Crown Center is really good plus they let you take your own pictures. They don't even care if you buy one of theirs or not. They have an awesome play area for the kids to play in. My son is 18 months and he went crazy for it!!!
Hi. I am looking for the best Santa in the area. In the past I have taken my son to see the Santa at Mission Mall (no longer there) and Oak Park Mall, but last year when my husband took my kids there, they wouldn't let him take a picture unless he bought their picture too. Other years, the Santas were really nice about this (understanding that the photos are expensive) and have let me take pictures without buying THEIR pictures...Any advice?
Thanks!

He's already come and gone last saturday, but the santa at Family Tree nursery is the real santa. Mrs. Claus is always there with him too. You can take your own pictures and they have wonderful plants and decorations to look at. There's even a fish pond in the back of the green house area that kids love to go to and feed the fish. Just for info they also have a little spring carnival that i take my kids to every year. They can feed and pet animals, face paints, characaturists, clowns and balloon animals. All kinds of wonderful things. Hope u find a santa.
We've seen Santa at Zona Rosa two years in a row. He is an awesome Santa! They do not let you take your own pictures, but each family gets a free 4x6 regardless of whether or not you buy any pictures. Santa asked my son if he's been helping Mommy and picking up his toys. My son said yes and I made a face. Santa didn't miss a beat, he just told him he's been watching him and knows he could do better at helping out at home. It was so funny! My son has been more diligent at picking up after himself.
Every year shawnee has a santa that is fantastic!! They let you take your own pictures. Afterwards there are free sleigh rides and hot chocolate. Later in the evening there is a parade and then a christmas tree lighting. Unfortunatly it was the first weekend in december. But maybe you could watch for it next year. For this year though, the santa at crown center really looks like the "real" santa. The lines are usually pretty long but they have it decorated so pretty, kinda gets you in the christmas spirit. Hopefully this will help.
I was going to try to take my son to Mission Mall also. I asked around & finally ended up going to Crown Center. I have decided to go there every year from now on. They took a great picture & there was no line. I wanted to have pictures for his grandparents so I took his Santa picture down to Target & made reprints. The reprints came out great too.
Crown Center...At least in the past years, cant say for sure about this year yet.
