I am moving to Sixteen Acres and am looking for a suitable Daycare. I currently have my son in a home-daycare setting and it works, but would like a more structured setting. Any suggestions or references would be very helpful.

Let me check on this for you. Clinton Nursery School was located in a church in Sixteen Acres area and is very well-known. Also, Make Way for Ducklings is a fabulous daycare that my nephews went to up until Pre-K. I can get back to you with specifics. Also, Pre School Enrichment Team on Bridge St in SPringfile dis a wonderful resource. I used them for picking out my children's daycare.
Hi J.. I am going back to work in a week and found a home daycare through the Preschool Enrichment Team. The lady that we are using seems great and she has a structured schedule. I would recommend checking out this website www.preschoolenrichmentteam.org and having them send you information on providers in your area and check them all out.
I'm not sure what daycares are in that area, but just a warning... Do Not enroll your child in The Kid's Place. I speak from experience. Good Luck

I am an Assistant Coordiantor for The Kids' Place, Inc. at our Feeding Hills location. Our company has a web site you can go to check out all of our centers as well as our philosophy and information. Go to: www.thekidsplace.org to check it out. I think depending on where you are at in Sixteen Acres, you would probably be close to either our Springfield Center, or our Wilbraham center on Boston Road.
