I'm not having any difficulties right now and haven't had any issues in a long while.
I only access the site from my laptop (not from phone or ipad).
for two whole days the back button has worked PERFECTLY!
i'm so pleased. for me that was a biggie. i know, i know, FWPs, but one swipe as opposed to three swipes and a click makes for a happy S..
today i can't send flowers, though. sniffle. there are a lot of great responses yesterday that i'd love to shower with posies, but MP will not permit.
obligatory question- how has the site been for you lately? what specifically have the fellows done to make it easier for you? what more needs to be addressed?
thanks for the back button repair, guys!

too funny, it's letting me send flowers now!
i sometimes have the issue where it only lets me type one letter every 30 seconds too. i had attributed that to my (crappy) mac mini, but i guess it's an MP thing.
but for the nonce my back button works AND i can send flowers. now we'll have to see if i have time today to go back and send all the flowers i tried to send this morning.

I seem to have constant problems. My biggest is that I can only type one letter every 10 seconds, which is BEYOND annoying. I like to ramble a lot so this is NOT acceptable! Lol Which is why I haven't been on much in the last several months because it's been such a big issue for me. So to get around it I go to a blank screen and type up my ramble then cut and past it to the comments. Totally annoying but works. Otherwise it would take an hour for me to type a sentence. I wish they would just fix it already. Grrrr
This has nothing to do with the back button, but one thing that might be helpful (and assist with more traffic) is some way to be informed that someone has updated a question...or even if they have ETA TO the question for clarification. Those things would perhaps allow others to more readily respond to a post that was vague...or more clearly define an answer.
Oh, I must give KUDOS to site owners. I DID get a notification that 'they' had seen my reporting of a question. I liked receiving it as it gave me some assurance that hitting the button was received...(I AM a bit like pavlov's dog I suppose...an intermittent response does keep 'em coming back...yes? LOL).
LOVE you S.!!!
I usually have trouble responding to questions, the screen locks up or is very very slow. I notice it more when others are responding to the same question. I haven't had a day where I couldn't send flowers in a while, but it does still happen sometimes.
For the last 2 days when I open a question my computer pretty much stops. Flash? crashes, what ever that program is, and I have to reload the page. I have taken to copying my answers several times throughout my typing them.
It's those ads that have automatic videos on them. I try to click pause on them but that doesn't always work.

I agree with Felinestroller - I have heard back from moderators when I reported questions as inappropriate too. Nice to know :)
Back button not working for me right now.
Yesterday I typed up answers but they didn't post.
I find when my answer does post, I just see ads show up and it hangs there. I am often shutting it down.
It's slow. And I just restarted my computer. So when I type it takes a while for letters to show up. Other sites working just fine.
I was on the site this morning, left and when I returned it wanted me to take a survey before I could view the content. I just reloaded the page and it went away. If it hadn't then I would have been closing mamapedia.
I haven't had any problems in a long time. What system are you using?
I use Chrome on a PC (adblock installed) and ad-block browser on my iphone. I know the site administrators probably don't love the ad-block software. But, the ads were constantly causing problems for me. The problems on this site were my major impetus for installing it. As soon as I installed it, the problems went away and stayed away - and that was months ago.
