Salon Lorrene on Northwest Highway and Quentin. I won't give my stylist name because she's getting too popular! But they have many good ones. ###-###-####
I was just reading through the old requests and responses for hair salons and thought it's time to get updated opinions. Does anyone have a great stylist/salon to recommend in the Palatine/Barrington/Buffalo Grove area? I have thin, fine, stick straight hair so it's really hard to work with. Thanks for your advice and opinions!

Even though my hairdresser is in the Schaumburg area, not too far from Palatine (just off Plum Grove Road), I thought I'd mention her to you because she does a fantastic job! She's a stay-at-home mom, but has her own salon in her basement. She has many years of experience, but decided to work from home so that she can be with her baby. One of the best things about going to her is that she has a play area for kids (with toys, games, TV, etc.), so you can bring your little ones with you too, and you don't have to worry about getting a sitter while you get your hair done. She's very professional, and really takes the time to explain what she's doing and gets your permission before doing it! Her name is Maureen and her number is ###-###-####. You can also check out her website at www.Shears2U.com. If you decide to go to her, you can tell her that I referred you!
J., I go to "Vicki" at the Deer Park Town Center called Beauty Shoppe next to Pier One. She's awesome and affordable. Has 2 little ones so fun to talk to too! Her number is: ###-###-####. Good luck!
I LOVE Claude Thomas Salon! They have been featured in a couple style maagazines. I personally Love Bridget Weber-Tell her A. Small sent you! They are currently renovating some of salon-but every thing is still working there.
