Hi Mommas...my family is coming for a visit this weekend from out of town and I would love to take my nieces and nephews to the pool....are there any public pools in Plano / Allen / Richardson? I would also be open to the McKinney / Frisco area. I've been to Celebration Park in Allen and really had a good time, but I would like a pool in addition to a splash park. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

If you want just a straight-up public swimming pool, I suggest Jack Carter pool in Plano (Independence/Maumelle - which is N of Spring Creek). It pretty much is the whole thing - shallow playscape/splash area for younger ones, big slides for older ones, laps, diving board, deep end, shallow end, etc. www.planoparks.org

have fun!!

Tom Muellenbeck (sp?) in Plano has in door and outdoor pools plus 5 big slides, there is also an awesome indoor pool in Allen, don't rember the name.

Hawiain fall is allot of fun if you can afford.

Hi E.,

Hawaiian Falls is a fun place to go. There is one in North Garland. I'm not sure if that's what you might want to try...just an idea. HawaiianFalls.com...they have a regular swimming pool, wave pool, lazy river, tons of slides, food etc. Best of luck to you.
