I am new to mamapedia and thus to Questions and Answers.
I have read a couple questions and see how it flows/functions, meaning I see how the question is asked, members can respond and then the individual who asked the question is then able to respond. It is all a thread.
I posted a question recently and received a few answers in which I would like to respond, but I don't see where/how to do this.
I have emailed "contact us" with this question, but haven't received instructions.
Would anyone be so kind as to help?

Go to your question - it will ask you at the bottom - So What Happened? you can update there!
A lot of us don't check our messages so putting something in the So What Happened area is best. That way everyone can see what you responded to their comment.
Almost always we have a similar question but if someone else has already asked it we look to see if you addressed it by editing your question and put ETA, Edited to Add or put something pertaining to that question in the SWH, So What Happened.
If you want to respond to a particular post click on the poster's name. Then click on send a message on their page.
It's best to say most things on the same page as the question and responses because that is the primary format for the site. We all learn this way. But you can private message by going to each member's page.
If you want to respond to the person in a private message, just touch or click their handle. It will take you to their profile and you can select to send a private message. If you just want it give more info or follow up, as others said you just scroll down, hit edit and either add more to your original post or in the 'so what happened' box. Hope that helps!
Like Wild Woman said, you use the "So What Happened" button to share further.
I would add that you will often see things like: "after your SWH" written on responses. That is b/c the original question added information in the "So What Happened" section, and it affected the response, or provided additional information needed to give a better response, and we often just use the initials "SWH" to reference it.
