Western Pennsylvania Women's Healthcare Associates
I have been going there for over 4 years. The office is all women and I've been seen by all of the doctors there and love them all. My regular is Dr. Woo. She is great. They have a few offices, one in the south hills, one in Wexford, and one in Magee Hospital. Dr. Woo has delivered both of my children, and my sister started seeing her after moving to the city. She is happy with the recommendation too. good luck!

I have had all three of my children at the birth center for women. It's a group of midwifes in the strip district. They are an amazing bunch of highly skilled professionals. I go to them for all my female heath needs. I am repeatedly blown away by their vast knowledge base. http://www.midwifecenter.org/tmc/tmc/content.asp
It's worth your time to at least check them out.

I second Western Pennsylvania Women's Healthcare Associates, although I see Dr. Sonya Noh. Dr. Noh delivered both of my children and is really awesome. She takes the time to address all of your concerns and you can really ask her anything. While pregnant I also saw Dr. Krupski and Dr. Woo and liked them both as well.

Hi J., I'm not sure where you live in Pgh, but I live in the South Hills. I go to Magee Womancare Associates, the Bethel Park office. I think they have other offices too. I really like them; the doctors and nurses are so nice and I hardly ever wait very long in the office and once I am in the exam room, it's usually pretty quick. One thing that is very important to me is that a doctor doesn't rush me but takes the time to talk and these doctors do that. When I was pregnant with my 2nd child, a new doctor had just come into the office and I was going to meet him in case he would deliver me. When he walked into the room, I almost fell off the table...he looked like he was about 20 years old. I said to him "You look like a baby yourself, how many babies have you delivered?" Well, he was much older than he looked and had a lot of experience delivering. Well, wouldn't you know it, he ended up being the doctor on call when I went into labor. I remember thinking "No, No, No!!" Let me tell you, he was wonderful!! My labor was painful, but his demeanor is so calming and reassuring. I had to have an episiotomy again and he did an amazing job stitching me up (sorry if TMI)! I actually went home a day early! With my 1st, my episiotomy took about 6 months to heal! His name is (don't laugh) Dr. Bummer and he is in the Greentree office. I actually considered switching to that office so that he could be my ob/gyn, but we moved and that would to much trouble to drive over there. Anyway, sorry to go on and on, you should check them out, they are great. I'm really happy I switched to them.

I would NOT recommend Magee Womancare Associates. I go to the Wexford office (and Passavant occasionally), and find that they're always overscheduled/running late. I've had troubles with their billing and some of the nurses aren't the nices/friendliest.
