It sounds like you have a lot of good suggestions. I see a Dr. at Old Farm OB/GYN who is retiring this S., but I have also seen a couple of his colleagues and recommend anyone in their facility there.
I am trying to find a good OB/GYN that will deliever at St. Marks. I am new to the area, but have decided that St. marks is the hospital that will best fit my needs. Thanks for any input that you have.

Dr. Erik Nielsen. I have been going to him for over 5 years now and I absolutely love him. His office is in the St Mark's hospital also.
I recommend Diana Peterson. She is a certified nurse mid wife that works with Dr. Yamashiro. She is so great. She is there for you during all of your pushing where as a doctor is only there to catch the baby and you rely on the nurses for everything. She is brillant. Good luck
Hi there.
I highly reccommend Dr. Darren Watts. My sister in law used to work with him in Labor and Delivery (she's a nurse) and reccommended him to me, and I've used him for both my boys. I trust him implicitly. Both of my babies were breech, and he did 2 successful "breech versions" (turning them) which is only successful about 50% of the time. He also did a very successful forcepts birth with my younger son when his heart rate dipped and he had to come out fast. My baby had no marks to show for it. He is the BEST. My sister in law (who used to work with him) is now pregnant and is driving all the way from Saratoga Springs to St. Marks just so that he can be her doctor. If you go to him, tell him T. says hi!

P.S. If he is full and you can't get in to see him, Dr. Yamashiro is also excellent. They work together at the offices accross the street from St. Marks. Two of my best friends (who are both pregnant right now) has seen Dr. Yamashiro for several of their kids.
I have delivered both of my babies with Dr Lamb. He is with the Millcreek womens center. Actually anyone in that particular firm would be wonderful. They even have Certified Midwifes if you like that route. Overall I was very impressed with Dr Lamb. There office is in St Marks in womens center fourth floor.
Good Luck!!
If Catherine Wheeler is on your insurance at St. Mark's Women's Pavilion, I HIGHLY recommend her and her practice! Excellent Doc! Very caring, spends time with you as needed, super knowledgable and listens to your needs! Great bedside manner and wonderful all aound OB-GYN!
I recommend dr. Scott Barton. He is so caring for everyones needs. He did a c-section on my boy and did a wonderful job it was my second c-section. He is in the old farm bilding. Good luck. I love st. marks hospital very clean.

I have seen several providers from my doctor's practice already mentioned, but I wanted to refer the entire group. They are called OB-GYN associates. The are located directly across the street from St Mark's and they are wonderful. There are several Doctors as well as nurse-midwifes, and they are very open minded about delivery options. I have had all three of my babies with Dr. Yamashiro or one of his associates and have had a great experience each time
If St Marks is in SLC, I'd suggest Dr. Yamashiro, really great guy who delivered a friend's baby.
Doctor clayton wilde is a very wonderful doctor. My husbands aunt see him and I saw him until my insurance changed. My co worker also has an ob that is there too. I will have to get his name for you.
Gordon Park. You can find him through the U. I believe he is mostly at the redwood clinic but also goes to westridge and greenwood. He delivers at St. Marks
Dr. Yamashiro is the best!!! He delivered my baby girl who is one month old today and it was a very good experience. He has great "bedside manner" and always made me feel very comfortable during my visits. I have recommended him to several friends and they also love him. Good luck!
Welcome to the area! I used Dr. Jeffery Quinn and really like him although he is super busy. I have also heard great things about Yamashiro...so much in fact that I would love to meet the guy:) good luck!
I second the recommendation of Dr. Lamb or anyone in his practice, Millcreek Women's Center. They're in the Women's pavillion at St. Marks so you get to know the area well before you deliver there. good luck!!
*Update:) I had some complications following the delivery of my twins. Dr. Lamb recommended a radiologist for me to see. I was in the midst of treatment with him when Dr. Lamb called me up to see how I was healing. I realize he probably had my file flagged or something, but this kind of call would normally be handed off to a nurse. I really appreciate how connected Dr. Lamb has been in my care and that he took the time to call me himself instead of handing a trivial phone call over to his nurse.
Just an extra plug. Hope you find a dr. you like!
