Has anyone had any experience with any of the pediatricians' mentioned above? I am pregnant with my first child and my OB recommend these 4, however I would like to get personal recommendations/feedback from other moms. Any feedback is appreciated! They all practice near NorthPark mall, off 75 and Park.

So What Happened?

I was amazed at how many responses I received and how incredibly helpful everyone was! This was my first posting and I can not thank everyone enough! I have made a prenatal appointment with Dr. Spaeth and if that doesn't work out, than I have lots of other options!

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Clifford. We've been with her for almost 9 years and two kids. We also see Dr. Milici and Dr. Becker. We saw Dr. Becker last time we were there and the boys really liked him. We haven't met Dr. Speath yet, but we don't go in as often now that the boys are older!

Our doc is Dr.Becker! He is awesome. Very easy to talk to and Jack just loves him. I have also met Dr. Speath and Clifford and they are great too.

We picked Dr. Becker based on a couple of friends recommendations and my OB.

I love the office and the staff too!

I have two children (4 and 2) and we see Dr. Clifford as well. We have been very pleased with the practice for the most part and for us, their general philosophy (e.g. they don't believe in prescribing antibiotics for every illness) has worked well. The only thing that has been somewhat problematic is occasionally waiting longer than I'd like to to see the doctor, especially during cold/flu season. I have several friends that use Dr. Milici and they speak well of her. I, too, have heard good things about Dr. Spaeth, but my children have not been seen by her. I have not heard one way or the other about Dr. Becker, but I would assume he is good as well.

Definitely interview them as I think they are all well-qualified. Then you can find out which one meshes best with your personality because that is very important.

Good luck!

Hi E.,

I am not familiar with any of those pediatricians, but I am sure they are great. I am 33 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I chose one with my first baby based on my OB's recommendation as well. She is a wonderful very thorough doctor. She is a little further west than the ones that you listed. Her name is Christina Gray Deuber, MD 8215 Westchester Dr, Ste 111 Dallas, Texas 75225-6109. ###-###-####. She is part of a practice with 2 or 3 other Dr's they are currently near Preston and the Tollway they will be moving soon to a new office near Lovers Lane and Inwood Road. Anyway I am not sure if you are wanting to stay around 75 and Park but I thought I would pass on her information to you. Good Luck.

Sorry, I don't know anything about these Dr.s, but my pediatrician is in the same general area (at Medical City, Forest/75) and we love him and the other doctors in the office. The office is Forest Lane Pediatrics (www.forestlanepediatrics.com) and our Dr. is Chris Straugh. He is wonderful and always takes time to sit down and listen to our concerns...we are never rushed!

My two children see Dr. Spaeth. My daughter just turned 2 and my son is 8 months. I like her enough I guess. Personally - I didn't feel like she was very experienced with newborns and was kind of put-off/offended by some comments she made. That being said - later down the line when he had an allergic reaction to amoxicillin - she was very helpful and even called me on her day off to check in. We have also seen the other drs. Dr. Becker was great with my children and has a son just about my daughter's age. Dr. Millici was also super. I did not like Dr. Clifford's bedside manner or the way she spoke with me. If I were picking again - I would go with either Becker or Millici.

Hi, E.. This is a wonderful ped practice. I have two kids (8 & 5) and we see Dr. Clifford. Although I don't really have any issues with her to speak of, I have a friend who didn't like Dr. Clifford (for whatever reason) and prefers Dr. Milici. Since they all work together, sometimes we've seen others in the practice when our doc was not available and I've been very pleased with all of them. If I had to choose a different doc in the same practice I would choose either Dr. Milici or Dr. Spaeth.
