Camping with an Infant.

DH and I have friends who love camping. They have invited us to go on some trips with them. We just cannot agree on what to do with our 4 month old daughter. My idea is to get one of those 3 room tents and set up the pack n play. DH thinks that DD should either sleep in her infant carrier or with us. So what do we do with her during the day then? Hold her all the time? I swear men just do not think sometimes. LOL So what have you all done? Any advice?

What Do You Do with Your Children's Artwork?

Hi! I have a 2 year old son and I already have a large pile of his beautiful artwork. What do I do with it? I want to keep at least some of his art, but I know realistically I can't keep it all. Of course, I have some hanging on our fridge and in his bedroom. Does anyone have any good ideas for how to save my little man's artwork? Thanks for your help! You all are the bests!!

My Baby Wants to Constantly Be Held

My baby is 5 wks old and wants to be constantly held. I understand he hasn't learned to self soothe and maybe a little young for self-soothing. I love holding him but then I can't get anything done....shower, make dinner, laundry, etc. Sometimes he will play if I set him down but it depends on the hour and day. Does anyone know of a place in the Plano area that our therapist can take my daughter to do pretend play or dress up or something interactive? My daughter has autism, and we do 30 hours a week of therapy. I am looking for a different setting than our home - she is sooo tired of all our stuff.
