Seeking Advice on a Good Place for Portraits

If you want an absolutely stunning potrait, and money is not an issue, Elite Photographers in Morristown is wonderful. They did my daughter's wedding and I gave a photo package to a friend who had a baby and the pictures were wonderful. I have been taking my foster daughter to the photographer at Babies R Us. They do a nice job for a good price, plus you get to take the photos home the same day. I even took 2 different outfits for my foster daughter for her 1 yr pictures, one casual look and one tee with her age on it and a tutu. Good luck!

We have used Sears and JC Penney and been pleasantly surprised. Some of the best were from Sears. For both locations, they have been patient and we have not spent a fortune. We joined the clubs for a better discount and they always have coupons in the paper or Parents (and mags like them).

I have used most of them & Picture People was the best - it all depends on the photographer you get. I have a friend who started her own photo business w/ her sister & they come to your home! They work around the baby & her schedule & since it is in familiar surroundings, the kids tend ot be more relaxed. They go all over NJ. Here's the web site:

I use JC Penney and I'm very happy with them. My son turned one last month and we took the most amazing birthday pics. But I know people who use Sears and Kiddie Kandids and have seen some great pics from there as well. I do have to point out that it really depends on the photographer you get anywhere you go. The first pics I took were by an amateur and she wasn't good. Lucky for me, one of the pros there ended up coming in and helping out. But the next 2 times I went, I had great people!
