There is one in Mt. Airy named Dr. Joseph Price. That might be too far for you guys though, huh? He has practiced for a long time so he might know someon in your area. Good luck.

Our baby boy is due in October, and I am looking for an open-minded pediatrician [accepted by Keystone East insurance] who will support us - or, better yet, help educate us! - in delaying or refusing immunizations. I've met with Dr. Cady, so far, with mediocre results. Anyone? ..Anyone?

Wow - we are very similar. I also had an IVF baby after 3yrs of trying, and declined vaccinations. I had a very hard time finding an MD to go along with it, but ended up with Dr. Elizabeth Williams in Harleysville. She will honor whatever you choose, although she doesn't necessarily agree with the choice to not vaccinate. It would be a bit of a drive for you, but worth it if you can't find anyone else closer that will honor your beliefs. She is very good with our daughter. We are always looking for someone with a more holistic perspective, so please email me if you have luck finding someone (if you don't mind). Thanks!
Try Drexel Hill Pediatrics--Penny Soppas is who we just started seeing. Not sure about the immunization issue but she is the first pedi we have talked to who DOESN'T support crying it out as a way to teach babies to sleep. She is also a lactation consultant.
Hi, we also use Dr. Soppas. It is great that she is an LC, and is more or less an AP Dr. However, she is not exactly supportive of non-vaxing. We have delayed almost all of them, and at each visit she pushes us. I have heard feedback from other moms that if you are firm with her, she will get the picture. I have not scheduled my son's 12 mo WBV yet b/c I want to have my stance exact before we go.
