My family will be moving to Romeoville in less than a month and I need to find a new ob/gyn to continue my pre-natal. Currently, I'm 15 weeks pregnant. I delivered my 1st daughter through the doctors and midwives at Women for Women's Health in Oak Park. They did an awesome job on my delivery and prenatal care and I would like to receive the same excellence through another provider.

If anyone has any referrals would be great. I would prefer a practice that has both midwives and doctors if possible. If not, I'm open to either.

Thank you Ladies!!

Hi. I am a doctor in Winfield, and I live in Burr Ridge. I had my kids at Hinsdale with Lorenzini, Bruneuau, and Senica. It wasa very good experience, and they are great doctors. They also go to Good Samaritan in Downers Grove. At Edward Hospital, I would use Julie Jensen. Good luck!!! And Congratulations!

There is a FABULOUS practice in Willowbrook with all women and includes 2 midwives. Patty, one of the midwives, delivered our daughter 11 months ago and we were thrilled with the practice. They are at 630-654-BABY. West Suburban Women's Health. They deliver at Hinsdale Hospital. Edward's Hospital (Naperville) does not allow midwives, so if you do want a practice with midwives, you are going to have to be able to go out of the area a little. This practice is on 63rd a few blocks east of Rt 83.

Congrats!!!

I went to Edwards Womens Center in Bolingbrook, Delivered in Naperville, it is a very nice hospital. i will say there dr's are ok but they are so busy unless I got the nurse practitioner I seriously wasn't that thrilled to go there for my check ups. I also have other kids that had to come with me adn it was difficult.

Delivery at Edwards was AMAZING!! I had a great nurse with me all the time it seemed and wow what a nice setup. So Edwards has a close location on Weber and a great delivery in Naperville. Good luck

Vicky, I saw the Dr's at the Women's Center for Health in Bolingbrook during my last pregnancy and delivered at Edward's Hospital in Naperville and absolutely LOVE them :) My primary was Dr. M. Carney and the Dr on call when I went into labor was Dr. L. Anderson. Those two were my favorites in the group.

Their info is ...

Midwest Women's OB/Gyn is wonderful. They have a nurse midwife, Sara, who rocks and a great group of doctors. It's an all female practice out of Advocate Good Samaratin. It might be a little drive...depending on where in romeoville you are, but well worth it. The labor and delivery team at the hospital was great too!!
