I don't know if this may help you or if you have tried it but vitamin E in the capsules has worked great me so far. You break the capsule and squeeze out the oil and massage it into the area with stretch marks. I had stretch marks on my legs from gaining weight and now you can barely see them. You have to be careful though because vitamin E expires and once it expires it doesn't work (even in lotions). So check the date before buying and before use :)

The last time I checked into it, a plastic surgeon's office said that there is a procedure out there, but that it doesn't work all that well. It has something to do with adding collagen to the stretch marks. Your best bet would be to call an accredited plastic surgeon's office and ask them personally. As far as creams go, I heard of a product called Strivectin, and Elder Beerman type stores were selling it, but I think it may be off the market. I would be skeptical of creams, because you really don't know what they are made from or what they could do to your skin and body. I hope that is helpful

I (and my daughter) have had success with some Mary Kay products. I am a consultant...and I'm not just trying to sell something here! One of the products that sold me on the Mary Kay line was the Visibly Fit Lotion. It helps to restore elasticity to your skin...don't know if you still have that loose skin hanging around your belly area from childbirth, but this will definitely help to tone it up and make those stretch marks less visible! It's the one thing my daughter was sure to pack into her "hospital bag" before the birth of her second child!

We also have a great anti-cellulite program called Cellushape. And, yes, it really does work.

I do offer a $10 discount to first-time Mammasource customers...and our products are guaranteed 100% to your satisfaction. If you do not have a consultant and would like to try these or other products out, feel free to contact me. Cell: ###-###-####; e-mail: ____@____.com; Website: www.marykay.com/dkinne

There is an excellent product that works on stretch marks called Pentaxyl. You can purchase something similar, but not as effective at the mall but the cost is roughly over $130.00 per tube.
Pentaxyl is a cosmecuetical that is stronger and a tube of cream that lasts me a good 8 months is about half the price.
My daughter had large, purple stretch marks across her abdomen after her pregnancy and now they are merely shadows. She used this product daily. It's highly concentrated and also helps wrinkles, burns and scarring.
I can send you more information on it if you would like.
This just works!

Hey there, I have 3 boys also, I just gave birth to my last one. LOL, as for stretch marks, I have found nothing out there will fully take them away, However the lotion I swear by is Jergens skin firming lotion with sea weed extract. I also noticed getting some sun on the area affected by stretch marks helps to reduce the appearance. Eventualy they do fade and your skin does replenish it's self. But if you are worried about summer coming, I found that mabeline long wear make up also helped. I know it sounds weird, but that is what Madona does, make up can be used for more than your face. Doctors also say it takes roughly about 5 years for a woman to obtain her pre baby state again, so with time they do go away. Hope this helped, cause laser treatment... OUCH!!

Vitamine E oil either broken from the capsels or liquid in the bottle works, So does Coco Butter. Anything else is risky if it involves a medical proceedure. COCO butter and the Vit E oil combination worked for me, now if it only worked on the Cellulite too..lol oh well

I have recently been using Mederma for new and old scars on a tattoo removal that I had and it seems to be working great after only one week. It seems like it would work great on stretch marks as well. It's $12 at drug stores. Otherwise, laser surgery would work. I have had this done (on the tattoo) and it is so quick and easy. It would be a different type of laser then what I had, so it obviously wouldn't leave a scar... (since that would defeat the whole purpose. ha) If I get stretch marks with any future children and they don't go away I will for sure pay to have them removed by laser. It's worth it to feel good about your body, especially after having babies!

I sell Mary Kay and we have a lotion called Visibly fit body lotion that works great! I have three kids and after my second child had horribly dark stretch marks. They are barely noticible now after using every morning and night on those areas. I also use the Sunless tanning lotion to have even skin coloring.
Here is the info:

Clinically tested for skin irritancy and allergy.
Dermatologist-tested.
Oil-free.
Dry to oily skin.
Skin will appear firmer and smoother with regular use.
Helps even skin tone, minimize fine lines and reduce crepiness.
Improves skin clarity, firmness, elasticity and texture.
Exclusive, patented complex.*
It is only $22.00 and is my favoritve lotion to use even if I did not have stretch marks! Plus everything from Mary Kay is 100% money back guarentee. So if you did not like it you could always get your money back even if you used the whole bottle!
Good luck finding what works for you:)

Not really at least not with "specialty creams". All I can say is just keep lotioning to keep the moisture up and liek the othe poster said, avoid the sun for a while.

This is the bain of my existence. If you find anything, let me know! Mine are very deep. I've tried creams like Strivectin and they didn't do much. I have seen there is a new non surgical treatment available at salons. But there have been so many horror stories on the news about "non-surgical" treatments gone wrong, I'm too chicken to check them out.

Nope. My advice is to avoid the sun and tanning them for at least a year- they will fade better. They will never go away completely. I have very large stretch marks. I have decided to be proud of them. My husband isn't at all bothered by them and tells me how sexy I am on a daily basis. They are a part of who I am-a mom who gave birth to 4 healthy kids.
