Hi There--
We live in Ayer (by Acton) and have 12mo twin boys. They are just starting to get into playgrounds (more specifically swings) and seem to have a good time there. When ever we go visit our friends in Newton we take the kiddo's to the local playground there. Does anyone know of any closer to us??

Thanks
A.

Everyone raves about the playground in Devens, but I haven't actually been. You should try driving through the former base to find it as I've heard it's very clean and nice. Be sure to stick to the speed limit there, though ~ even minimal speeders are pulled over since there are tons of state cops everywhere (bonus: with that many law enforcement agents around, it's super safe!)

Hi -- we are new to Acton, but we found a great playground for little ones behind the Acton library. It is great

I really like the Bedford playground (behind the police station and next to the town library off of route 4 - I think Mudge Rd is the turnoff). They have a toddler-size play structure and four baby swings, and it was just redone this year.

The ones we go to are the "Tot Lot" on Fairbanks Rd in Sudbury; behind the Acton library on Rt 27; Rideout Park in Concord; and the Reo Rd playground here in Maynard.
