Summer weddings tend to be HOT HOT HOT here in Texas, so if you are planning an outdoor wedding I wouldn't recommed late June, July or August. The summer heat tends to last until the start of September. But the grass is green and people usualy are already traveling for summer break. September and October are good months for outdoor weddings as it is pretty mild outside and the leaves are starting to turn. But you might want to make sure you have the wedding before all the leaves fall off the trees and they look dead. May and the beginning of June are good times also for spring weddings. There tends to be less rain and all the flowers are in full bloom so less expensive for flowers and prettier for outdoor weddings. But because of this, there are alot of weddings here in Texas. January, February, March, April, November, December tends to be cold and/or WET. We don't get snow here much in Texas, but we might get ice or slush. So keep this in mind if planning a winter wedding. But in January you start out the new year married, February is refered to as the month of love because of Valentines Day, March and April the leaves are coming back and the flowers are starting to bloom, and November and December your family is already around due to the holidays and you end the year married. You don't want your guests having to cancel due to traveling for vacation like in summer or spring break, or having to stay home because of bad weather like ice or sleet. You also want to match your wedding colors to the season. I.E. Pastel=Spring, Earth tones=Fall, Bright colors=Summer, Dark colors=Winter. Good luck and congrats on the wedding!
