What's Needed and Wanted?

I have everything i truly need, a loving fiance, a beautiful daughter, a family that doesn't hate me...

I want many things though... my fiance to set a date, to loose 100lbs, to finish school, to give my daughter the best of everything, oh and beef.... i'm craving beef...

but the things i want, are not things i need. i have everything in life that i could truly need.

I want my eyes back (now bulging due to graves disease)
I want my daughter's hearing back :(
I want to leave New York.
I need my kids. They're who I am now. Without them, I have no meaning.

Oh, I WANT a swimming pool, and a garage, and a new wardrobe, and a convertible, shoes, a maid ..... LOL

BUT, I have what I NEED- a home, a reliable automobile, clothing, a stocked freezer, friends and family, and a broom and a mop. LOL

I want and need my wonderful son, my sister, my Aunt, and friends, and am blessed to have them all in my life and receive their support and love.

Thank you for this question M. - it was nice to pause and reflect and truly appreciate that I have what I need - which is also what I want.

I like this question. It is nice to be able to state our wants and needs without feeling judged :)

I want to never have to take medicine again.
I want to have no disease.
I want to have money for home renovations.

I need to be thankful that i have the meds to save my life.
I need to be thankful that my disease is not as bad as some.
I need to realize that it will all come in time.

That is what i tell myself anyway....lol!

I need my families love and support.

I want to be loved.

I just need my daughter to remain healthy all her life and continue to be the loving, happy girl, young lady and woman that I know she will be. And to know that I will always love her no matter what, to the moon and back a million gazillion times. :-)

What I want is:

Unlimited value gift cards for a book store.
A long train journey somewhere and I can read all my books and when I get home someone has decided to surprise me by remodeling my garden.
To meet a genuine, nice, funny guy who would also love my daughter too. (who wouldn't.. lol)
To lose some weight.
To continue working in the best job ever.
To see and talk to my Nana again :-( (wish she had met my daughter cause they are so alike - crazy!!!!) :-)
My whole family to remain healthy & happy forever.

I need (not want) a two hour massage from someone who knows how stuck a body can get. I have serious muscle pain.

I need a couple days to myself. There's been family stuff going on and both my husband and son have been sick for the past month.

I need to get my work done for parent conferences next week. Finish assessments and put the information on paper for parents.

I need a haircut.

I *want* a glass of wine and some really cheesy Colin Firth moment. "Pride and Prejudice" for the umpteenth time. Or maybe my all time favorite, "True Stories". Oh, and about 10 hours more sleep.

Thanks for making me sort it out. I'm not sure I feel any better, but now I have a (perhaps fantasy) plan!

I want a good birthing experience (I'm 35 weeks, eek, getting so close!)

I've got about all I need, but I have some "wants"!

I want an extra week at the beach this year.
I want a predictable weekly routine.
I want a live-in grocery carrier.
I want my mom to love closer.
I want good health for all of my family.
I want to quit smoking!

I have everything I need (although all month I've needed sleep - averaging about 3 hours a night, because my son has been sick, but I've just had 2 good nights in a row).

- I want my son to be healthy (but I've realized I actually need him to be alive... exit strategy taken care of)
- I want a clean house (this is actually a borderline 'need' since I'm adhd it's almost impossible for me to function in a mess).
- I want blow your mind sex
- I want oysters, on the half raw, and on the half steamed open in white wine served drizzled with sorrel sauce & crumbled bacon with the shells on a bed of rock salt)
- I want a spicy chocolaty shiraz
- I want tall/ knee high leather boots (they have to be custom made, since I have a 36" inseam)
- I want a big old victorian house
- I want to be respected
- I want to be loved
- I want money for clothes/ remodeling/ travel
- I want to go snowboarding
- I want to snuggle my friends new baby (haven't seen her in 2 months since we've been contagious)
- I want to live somewhere it doesn't rain all the time
- I want a 36 hour day
- I want my degree
- I want a million things... most of which I'm working towards (changing planetary orbit not withstanding)

I WANT a big fat cheesburger (dieting)!

I NEED nothing beyond the great gifts I've already been given.

I want and need a job... for myself and my fiance! I need insurance so I can take my DD to the doctor when she needs it, I want to get out of my in-laws house and into my own place! On a positive note, I am soo thankful for my in-laws for helping my family during these hard times, I am grateful that my DD is healthy and happy, and I am staying positive during this job hunt. 'Aint nothing gonna get me down! :)

I need and want to get in shape!!

I have all that I need and I am grateful for that. What I want...

I want my husband's diagnosis of Lupus to be wrong.
I want my kids to grow up happy and healthy.
I want to feel like I am a good parent.
I want to lose weight and be healthy.
I want more TIME!
But basically, I want what everyone wants - to be happy and healthy! Paying off the house and finding a reliable babysittter couldn't hurt either!

I want a healthy baby ..(35 weeks pregnant)
And want to loose the 40 pounds that I'm carrying right now, after baby of course,
I want my DD CUSTODY CASE OVER!
I really don't need anything but lots of money haha who don't ?

Need:
1. Money. We are always barely making it. Some extra cash would be just great.
2. To lose weight. I am unhealthy and taking steps to improve it. Wish I could snap my fingers though!
3. Sleep. I have a 7 week old and am running on low lately which makes me super super cranky.

Want
(losing weight, sleep and money could all be considered "wants" I think, but to me they are needs...especially the weight and sleep....those are health things!)
1. My husband to be home more often to help out around the house and with the kids. But, he needs to make the same amount of money (or more!) but for less hours!
2. My children to be healthy and happy
3. A car that doesn't have any lights on, on the dashboard.
4. To own our own house....that would be SWEET!
5. Mind blowing sex...every other day...(don't want to be too greedy lol)
6. The baby to sleep through the night...or at least 5 hours straight!
7. A vacation....somewhere HOT...with a beach...by myself and a good book...with someone waiting on me....and an endless supply of Diet Coke.

I want my Dad's chemo to start working and his cancer stop spreading, so my daughter can enjoy her PopPop all of her childhood! (she is only 4) :-(

I want my daughter who has been sick for a week to feel better!

I want to whole world to just get a long, life is way to short for all the drama that goes on!

And I really want a new pair of UGGS but don't want to spend another $200 on a pair of boots right before spring :-)

i need more free time to visit my kids and grandkids!

All I need is my family's love (ok and toilet paper, but that will be purchased in the morning). ;)
I want (well I am hoping) to get an offer for the job I interviewed for

I want my son to meet my dad. My dad died of a massive heart attack when he was 47 due to his alcoholism. He and I had gotten relatively close during the last year of his life. When he died almost exactly 3 years ago I said my biggest regret was that he would never meet my children. Well now that time has come and it is something I so wish I could change. My son is named after his grandpa and according to my aunt he has grandpa's chin :-) I know my dad would be such a proud grandpa, despite all of his flaws and his addiction. Of course I wouldn't have my son around him a lot because I would not allow him to be exposed to the drinking and such as I was but it hurts my heart not to be able to call my dad, tell him hes a grandpa and hear the excitement in his voice.
