I was told of a company called Builders Supply - but can't seem to find it. So if anyone knows about it in the FT Worth Area - please let me know.

Other than that - we are half way into remodling the kitchen (not by choice due to plubming baloney...) but I decided I wanted a tile backspalsh and want to do it myself. I would like to find some nice tile - but need to save $$$.

Let me know if you all have suggestions!

Check out Floor and Decor in Arlington. It is off of 360 and Pioneer Pkwy. Here's the address and phone number:

2450 E. Pioneer Pkwy
Arlington, TX 76010

We are also remodeling our entire kitchen, by choice. My husband does a lot of comparison shopping and this is where we have decided to get our tile and back splash. (Good selection and price) I am not familiar with Builder's Supply, but there is a Builder's Surplus in Haltom City. Here's their address:

5832 E Belknap St, Haltom City - ###-###-####

Hope this helps!

Go to the Habitat for Humanity website and see if there is a store near you. They offer building supplies a lot cheaper because they are left overs.

If you have the time to browse, another great place to look is the Habitat for Humanity Restore. I believe there are 2 in Fort Worth & you never know what you're going to find. We have gotten some great bargains there on quite a few different items. Bonus: you're supporting a great organization when you shop there!! Good luck & happy remodeling. God Bless.

Ged's Carpet and Tile (the 360 location, not the Cooper location) has a lot of tile and reasonable prices. The best place we have found is a little place in Kennedale called Kennedale Surplus. They have beaten everyone else's prices. They also have wood and carpet.
