I have two ideas planned but not sure which one to go with...may even plan something else, but out of these two which would you go with..

1. Fathers Day BBQ Event @ Cowboy Stadium- I planned to send hubby and son there for the event which is on Saturday the 18th from 10-4 will have some events to do food and autographs of some players. Would be 90 bucks for just them two to go not sure if itus worth that...then if they do that my daughter would pick a movie to watch with him Sunday and have a father daughter movie date.

OR

2.Or all of us go to see a movie on Sunday and then go out for an ice cream.

Which plan sounds best? TIA!!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your help!!!! I do agree to let him decide, but I was wanting to suprise him with the BBQ thing..I am going to ask him tobight which he would prefer...I bet its gonna be #1 :) And thats fine with me...As far as saying it may not be worth it I just mean not sure what all they get to do for that amount just seems kinda high...I mean I dont want them to go and only a couple things be going on that it would get boring after an hour you know? I'm sure for that price though its bound to be great!!! And worth father son time :) Anyways thanks again cant wait to tell him the plans tonight...he has no idea about this and it is something different :)

$90 to eat at Cowboys Stadium? My husband would divorce me if he knew I had that option but dragged him to a movie and ice cream instead.

My husband would totally prefer option one at the stadium (for the Chicago Bears, of course!). Why don't you simply ask your husband what he wants to do? By the way, the $90 is totally worth it!!!! For what they get to do, I would send my husband in a heartbeat and be a little jealous I wasn't going with him.

Plan #1 sounds better.

Each child gets some quality 'dad time' doing their own thing!

BBQ!!... but really, let him decide. Unless you're trying to surprise him, then the first choice :) I bet you get a little something-something out of THAT one ;)

Let dad decide, but the Cowboy Stadium thing sounds awesome! I would lean towards the "men" having a day on Saturday and then on Sunday the family hanging out together.

I always ask my husband what he wants. This year he said he wanted to just stay home and do nothing. Totally fine with me! But my dad also lives here, so we do get together with my family on Monther's and Father's Days...but as far as my hubby, he wants to chill. Ask him. That's your best bet.

I always ask my wife what she would like to do for mother's day. Some times she says spend time with the family. Some times she says she wants to do something and tells me to surprise her. Or sometimes she just wants to go someplace and do something in particular. I then do the planning and arranging and all she has to do is get dressed and have fun.

Last year, I saved my "lunch money" and took her to a resort. This year she had conflicts with work so I took her out for breakfast, lunch and then over to my kids house to have fun and games with them. The year before I made a day of doing different things: IHOP for breakfast, "sky diving" in a wind tunnel, lunch at one of her favorite restaurants, massage in the afternoon, a nap, then dinner and a movie. She said she had a nice time.

Hope that gives you some ideas. Good luck to you and yours.

When my parents were alive, we would do something with them or my MIL the week before. Except the last Mother's Day my mother was here on earth. I asked my wife if it was ok, and went home to spend mother's day with my mom. She was very grateful.

Good luck to you and yours.
p.s. The BBQ at the Cowboys stadium or any sports stadium wouldn't interest me at all. Its nice we are all different.
