Words in Posts Are Underlined?

How do I stop words in my responses from being underlined? They aren't words I underlined, but I notice that they would have a link attached.

Sometimes it looks as though I have *emphasized* that word because it's underlined, and I have noticed that on a couple of occasions it would throw the emphasis on a word that would then change the context of my sentence.

It doesn't happen for every response and it doesn't happen in every post..... so I'm confused because I can't recognize a pattern or reason.

What can I do next?

Everyone's posts do that and there is nothing you can do. They are "helpful" links so people can find stupid articles about that topic on this site.

Thanks, Jo. I have wondered why it does that. It's just plain annoying, that's for sure. I am so computer illiterate, OneAndDone, that I don't even understand the crummy search engine feature comment LOL!!

Have a great evening!
